You guys crack me up. The thing still has camo on it and people are bitching about the looks. People are bitching about 'no active aero' as if they know this as fact. Now they are bitching about the sound. You have no idea what mode the car was in or how much throttle it was getting. Here's an idea: wait for the car to be fully revealed before you bitch.

doesn’t have the smooth high pitch scream of a flat plane crank / firing order like the z06/Ferrari/lambo in this video, but I’m not sure what rpm I heard either.

Maybe we're getting a 5.5L with a hybrid and a 6.2 liter with turbos as variants? Very interesting, I don't hear the high pitch flat plane either.

Is it a turbo charged version of the new base motor that’s supposedly switching to DOHC along with the truck’s and SUV’s next year?

Sure seems its being muted by turbos, sound seems deeper. Hope to see some flying laps soon, I'm a skeptic that any ZR1's will be sold before June 2025

LT7 is a 5.5 FPC that is being muted by turbos. Turbos act as mufflers when they don't have external waste-gates.

Looks and I’m sure performs awesome… but it is indeed a sound downgrade from the LT6.

Very muffled and mediocre sound on the ZR1. I'm definitely sticking with the Z06.

Didn't help that it sounded like it was recorded on the original iPhone, but to me, the only vehicle that sounded good in that entire video was the Porsche GT3(?). A distant second was the turbo 3/4 series BMW. The rest sounded like garbage, but that was I'm sure due to the extremely amateur recording.

Guys car is exceeding track sound limits, hence the added on turn downs. I’d reserve judgement until you can hear it properly.

I’m just glad the thing still makes noise, how many people are going to watch these videos when all there is are electric vehicles going around the track?
