Intakes, smintakes, wings and waddle. The performance version hopefully will make at least the downforce of a Viper ACRX

Not too shabby, BUT I was hoping the ZR1 would've ditched that comical beak off the door!
AND, when are we going to see the specs on the car?

Honestly I’m hoping they release a Z06 Carbon later on in the lifecycle that borrows some of the aero advancements, and hopefully light weighting (Bedford 6 cough cough), of the ZR1. That would be the car I’d most desire for this generation.

The first thing that I would do on a brand new ZR1 that I pulled into my driveway for the 1st time is get my tools out & unbolt that God awful wing

If you consider the track version of the car based on aesthetics you should buy the base version.

That's why one of my vinyl-wrap ideas is to cover part of that area so it breaks up the lines better.

T.50 is awesome and an engineering marvel, but that is not a very good looking car IMO. The fan in the back looks equally ridiculous… but I appreciate the function and engineering influencing the form just as I do with the GT3RS.

Well the Speirling also uses a fan. To some, a fan may look ridiculous. But the beauty is that you don't need fancy active aero or a massive drag-generating wing that causes too much downforce at some speeds. Jim Hall had this all figured out on the 2J, way back in 1970. By using a fan, you can get just the right amount of "sucked to the track" needed in virtually every situation--without reducing your straight-line speed. Bonus points if the fan is calibrated to the steering and slip angle of the car, so that it automatically increases or reduces RPM based on oversteer/understeer.
