Add me to the “I want one but will never be able to afford one” crowd 😆

Agreed, but then I think the Z07 wing is a big rediculous too.
Speaking of which, did anyone notice it's two different cars? Starting on pic 17 of the gallery it's a car with the Z07 wing. Wonder if what we are seeing is the Zora and ZR1 testing?

Was thinking the same. Maybe Zora too?

Might be some hidden actuators pivoting the wing and opening/closing the frunk flow through area to keep front and rear downforce balanced. If so, then maybe an active swan neck just wasn't as attractive from a packaging standpoint. I bet we'll see videos posted as soon as they start tilting the wing (if it does tilt). Obsurd speculation on my part I admit.

There are more elegant ways to make downforce w/o a huge static wing FYI. Most racecars have them (huge static wings) because of class rules. But underbody aero and active elements can allow for retention of a sleek design. I'd wager this is the "max kill" ZR1 and there will be a tamer aero variant.

I'm thinking this might be more like the C7 ZR1. Low wing is the standard ZR1, high wing is the ZTK track package.

Looking at the rear, its center exit exhaust so to me, this is LT6 or LT6 derived powerplant. So could be LT6 plus hybridization, or LT7? I've got to wonder what those extra ducts past the large inlets are feeding to.

They're clearly feeding turbos; intake feed to the inlet and intercooler radiator (look up old leaked LT7 CAD).

Finally, a freaking beautiful rear wing. The Z07 was available when I placed my order but never was crazy about that wing. Really glad I didn't get it as I can now add this to my Z06.

Default Active AERO

It has to have Active Aero... Have a look from this angle - there has to be actuators inside those braces. Could there be another explanation for the shrouds in this apparent design? One thought that comes to mind. Could the low wing (the one with the Z06 high wing) version be a ZR1 and the massive high wing(active aero) be a Zora?

Methinks the huge may be just be for aero tweaking and the final wing may indeed be active or at least more refined. Overall I like the direction its going. It does look rather chunky though so I'm more worried about the weight than the rear wing. Can't wait to see the beast in full showroom condition.

The wing is better looking than the Z06 one.

Looks like a battery disconnect on the front passenger side…

That's appears to be a taped on timing transponder, not a battery connect like the eRay mules had.

Base ZR1 will have the Z07 wing, ZTK trim will get the active big ****. LT7 TT FPC DOHC V8 most likely.

That huge wing looks completely out of place to me (from some angles, I like it from the front of any 3/4 view of the car.. but from the side it looks a little odd). I like how they made the wishbone a little air inlet.

Curious to see the video that is sure to be coming soon. No one is taking pics at the ring with no one else around shooting video.

Another missed opportunity by Corvette for such a brilliant platform....no active aero.
