Okay so I will say this, unless you have the carbon fiber wheel what we have seen is the standard OEM C8 Z06 wheels aren't actually truly forged more of a Hybrid or Rotary forged wheel some say they even way up to 29 pounds front and 34 almost 35 pounds rear. So hypothetically if you were to get a set of Custom fully forged Monobloc wheels from us in OEM configuration you would shed about 7-9 pounds or so which in rotational mass terms is a massive cut and you would feel the difference. Hope this helps you out even a little if any!

Signature Forged 20/21 setup with stock PS4s. Went as aggressive as possible on fitment/offset for as much lip as possible with plans to lower/partial track alignment.
Wheel gap looks worse than stock wheels so cannot lower it fast enough lol

Just adjust rear Coilovers and add front lift spacer for 1” drop.

I'm having this dilemma as well. Non-Z07 just swapped over to the Cup 2Rs on stock rims, track alignment and after 2 days they already look like slicks, I think I can squeeze one more day out of them. At $2500 a set w/installation my 30-40 track days per yr are going to get a bit pricey. Every combination of wheel size I've played with has very limited tire availability.

I am old, not yet feeble, and my short term memory has never been great. The reason I responded w/o remembering my 1st post was the cup2Rs look like below after 2 track days and at $2500 a set & track 30 +/- times a season the tire budget is looking a bit daunting. I died 4 days on the OEM 4S tires to get the feel for the car but they are not up to the task re: track. It would be nice to have some choices in 180-200 west range.
