As title states, I am wondering if you get the standard GM rewards which equals a couple hundred bucks on a Z06 purchase?

Also, if you do, are those reward points immediately placed into your account upon purchase of a Z06? If not, how long does it take?

Yes. My "standard" points were given and verified at the dealer before I even drove off the lot.

Thank you. I paid for mine last week and my account still shows 0 rewards. I asked my salesman if I should be getting standard points and he said he didn't think so, just the $5K points after 6 months of ownership. I thought I had read a while back where several people had received standard points at purchase but just wanted to be sure.

Yes, they checked verified my rewards number at the time of purchase. I checked my account history and the New Vehicle Purchase points were added the day I took delivery - May 6, 2023. I used part of them for an oil change on my Tahoe a couple weeks later.

2023, you get the $5000 rewards points.

2024, NO.

Yes. This purchase points 244 bucks i think for my car? Were on there immediately.

No just have to wait another 5 mos for the 5k worth of points.

I've used those points in the past to service my wife's cadillac a couple times.

I've heard they can be down payment for new gm vehicle and also pay down a gmac loan.

You should have received points for the sale of the car immediately upon purchase. Points equal 1 point for every $5 of the MSRP

You can call the Concierge and they can help get your points added to your account. I signed up for MyGM, thinking that opened a MyGMrewards account. A month after I called and they walked me thru getting the MyGMRewards account and got the points added to my new account for my C8Z purchase. I should be getting my 500,000 points in the next month or so.

As others said you should get points about $200-$300 worth just for buying the C8 and it shows up within a few days. Make use you have a rewards accounts. You can download the myChevrolet app to your phone if you haven't done it yet and check your points

You get both, I received the new car purchase points the day i picked up the car, and will get the 500,000 in 6 months (2023 Z06)

It’s good you got your points but those points should have been showing in your account the day you bought the car, not 3 months later.

I bought my car a week ago today. I got the standard points immediately before I even arrived as the saleman had already added it to my account. It equaled about $250 or so. My understanding is the $5000 comes down the road, even far after the six months passes.

I just checked my rewards account and the 500,000 points were added today , I got my car on February 7th .
