Anyone else being told GM is not accepting z06 "sold orders"?
My number got called 2 weeks ago with an allocation. I noticed my order form says "retail stock" not "retail sold"
I asked why, since the denali HD I ordered says "Retail sold." Sales mgr told me GM will only let them put corvette ordered through as stock, not sold...

It might be that an order not filled for a 23 is not filling a sold order at the 23 price. It would be a retail order that moved to 24 and possibly a price increase. So, it's a dealer retail problem not a customer problem. Although it really is a customer problem.

MY23 SRE Was Closed on 4/5/23
As previously reported, GM closed SRE (retail sold orders) on April 5th. However if an order is/was entered preliminary and in the GM OrderWORKBENCH at 1100 before 4/5, it can be matched to an allocation as an SRE.
If a MY23 order was not at 1100 before 4/5 it can only be entered as TRE (dealer stock order).
This is why some are reporting they got an SRE order after 4/5.
I believe this is normal for end of model year. It allows GM to manage customer expectations by having mostly stock orders they can cancel in the last few weeks of a MY’s production. Canceling a stock order is far less impact than canceling a sold order. The no SRE period winds up being longer this year because of the 2 months extension to MY23. When the 4/5 date was announced, MY23 was supposed to end on July 1.
Many dealers including mine had enough people on their list get their orders in at 1100 before 4/5. A friend of mine was one and he got an SRE order in the 4/20 allocation.
In the end it doesn’t really matter unless you wanted R8C NCM Delivery or a color override. I believe those are the only options not available with a TRE order.

Nope. I got my allocation on 4/20 and it went in as a sold order. My TPW is 5/15 now.
