Also, understand that the procurement for tooling and associated equipment etc., didn't happen when that announcement was made. That's when the information pool went critical and got un manageable from a secrecy aspect because of the number of involved vendors and employees and at that point it grows exponentially. So you get out in front of it and let everyone know what the general plan is. These plants will be producing engines much earlier than most expect. One particular engine plant should be up this year making Gen6's.

Did you by chance take more pictures? The big give away would be the wide body with non-central exhaust.

I'm thinking ERay prototype that might be now testing ZR1 components...........
It's not a GS.

Platinum Supporting Dealership
They were spotted in Lawrenceburg, IN earlier this week. The camo car was wearing test pipes coming out of the center exhaust and there was a quick video filmed of the cars as well, but the guy that captured it wasn't a Corvette guy and didn't know what to look for.
I believe these to be 2024 preproduction models based on the vin stickers on the windshield. All look to be Z06s and the red car has the corner-mounted exhaust which you can see in the photo below.

Melting Slicks
Vin would have the engine digit making it easy to KNOW if it was anything different. Sad people still miss that the VIN is the most important part to photograph.
Arrgggghhh!
Please capture the vin numbers of any test cars seen!!!
