Hate to say it but if you don't want to pay 10s of 1000s over MSRP you needed to get on a list well over a year ago. I'm not aware of any dealership taking deposits at this point for MSRP.

Realistically, sorry dude, you aren't getting one unless you pay some major, major markup.
Pretty sure the big dealerships just stopped taking deposits altogether....so your only hope is to deal with one of the trashy dealers who will order one for themselves and sell it to you for over $200k.

There's no hope going through the bigger dealers. Most have such a long list that it will take years to clear even if production could pump out 50/day.
You can start calling small dealers that sell a few corvettes a year and maybe you'll get lucky and find one w/o a list and then get lucky that they get an allocation.
You'll have a better shot at getting an e-ray if that is of interest.

You been asleep? You are SOL unless you want to pay dumb amounts of ADM new or pay over MSRP for a used one

If you get on a list now , and production does not pick up significantly, you are looking at 2025-6.

Your only bet unless you know some one on the inside is to find one online at a small dealer and pay 50-100k over . It’s the only way to get one at the moment . If you wait about two years they’ll be more available but likely still at 25k over range. It’ll be awhile until you can get one at. Dealer for Msrp imo ..

Getting one at MSRP? Probably never. I suspect the z06 production to only last 5-6MY's.
You're going to have to either pay a huge markup, because there are "some" for sale right now, although i don't know about the warranty issue.
Or you can buy used a year or 2 from now, and still be paying over MSRP and still don't know about the warranty issue nor how the 1st owner broke it in or drove it.
Sorry to say but you should've put that deposit years ago. It was only 2k and it was refundable.

Try Carmax. They seem to really want to sell cars and look like nice people..

For my part, I'd buy one at MSRP, but I'm cool to sit on the sidelines and see what happens over time. If I end up owning one: great. If not, all kinds of lovely things you can purchase with that amount of money.

While the z06 is awesome…lots of guys are bailing
lots of guys have multiple deposits at 3 or more dealers skewing actual information.
what is the holdup on the c8 z ? No body knows for sure.
with the Zr1 Zora and even the Eray release we may see reservations drop off over time.
and let’s not forget other brands new vehicles..
while the z06 is a cool ride many other choices are available.
I hear 911 s are scarce too.
deglobalization is wrecking havoc on supply lines around the world.
