Best info on next allocations?
So it seems that February was a bust and the rumors they were delayed a week are also a bust. So now we're waiting 3 more weeks for later this month?

[QUOTE=RapidC84B;1606341849]That's really unfortunate... they've also had a few motors spin bearings and others pushing oil out the rear main seal.[/QUOTE
I was told the fluid had so much crap in it GM said don't bother trying to fix it and so is sending a new transmission by rail, will be here in about 2 weeks.
my previous car was a 2020 Z51 stingray htc which I picked up at the NCM. I headed out on the freeway and made it 85 miles before the engine blew, broken valve spring, piston hit valve and bent the pushrod. They didn't replace the engine, just the damaged parts and all valve springs. Of course that killed my confidence in the engine and car in general, but I then proceeded to daily drive it, across the country twice, and put 36,000 hard miles on it, and other than the AC breaking twice (during a summer with record heat of course) the car was rock solid, and gave me by far the best automotive experience of my life. In the 2000 miles I drove the 2023 Z06, it has improved in every area that I wanted improved on the already stellar stingray, i.e. much better engine sound, more power that the chassis was begging for, much better handling (subjective but I prefer the increased firmness), and wider tires for more grip, and took the looks to 11... pretty much everything was dialed up to 11, this was the incremental increase that took the already fantastic stingray, improved upon it, and resulted in the z06 which is pretty much perfect for me. I think once the transmission is replaced, I will probably have many many miles of smiles.
Complex machines have a bathtub curve.. there are lots of failures at the beginning, then a long period of much fewer failures, then the failures pickup again once the thing starts to wear out. If I am just patient through the first leg of the bathtub, like I was with my 2020 stingray, things will straighten themselves out.

Late March allocation may not be built until June/July and later if you want aero. That would stink to miss most of the summer again waiting for an aero car. I wonder if a company will come out with an aftermarket rear bumper that would also work with the high wing design, maybe even a center bumper exhaust outlet and better rear diffuser. Of course that would probably require a trunk liner removal.

It seems to be roughly a 5 month turnaround from allocation to delivery... 2023 track seasons are in jeopardy for those of us in 4 season climates.. The group I run with have already released their 2023 calendar dates..
But I guess it doesn't bother most as their intent is to use the zO6 for hard parking at the local C&C.

From what i interpreted (from the other site) below are the allocations from today?
1. 55 x C8 Z51 package
2. 102 x C8 non-Z51
3. 0 x ZO6

Those numbers are Sting Rays for just one dealer. 157 cars is less than one day's production.
