Z06 Exhaust Baffles
Was cleaning my Z06 today and noticed the baffles inside the exhaust are different. One has only 1 row of holes while the other has two. Can anyone take a pic of your exhaust and let me know if it’s the same? I saw stradman’s exhaust video and looks like both of his have two rows of holes.

I think all of them are like that. At least from the GM official pics.

Weird how Stradmans has two rows of holes on both.

Two rows on each, it must be the faster setup

GM Quality & attention to details......not so much.

My local dealer said they will order a new one and install it.

If you watch one of the longer new YouTube videos about the design of the car they call out that each pair of the 4 exhausts were designed in a specific way to eliminate some noise by having it come out 180 degrees out of phase with the other leaving only the "nice" noise from the flat crank v8. The point is one pair is different than the other by design.
I'm not an expert but apparently a flat crank v8 makes two different kinds of noise. One is a 4 cylinder noise and one is the full v8 noise (my translation of the technical explanation). They designed it to cancel out the "bad" 4 cylinder noise leaving only the "good noise"...

Kicking the can down the road doesn't solve GM product quality issues. Funny (or not) that's how the space shuttle O-rings got through not that the exhaust rings are on par with the shuttle disaster.

My local dealer stated that the whole exhaust will need to be changed because it’s all one piece. They can’t order the whole exhaust and are pushing it up to the higher ups.

Reminds me of how Government is pushing these EVs without first upgrading our electric grid followed by a proper charging infrastructure. Go figure.

The car is an early car, as alkl of them are right now, and there will be some "differences". IF you can save that exhaust!!! The future buyer of the car would have a great NCRS judging score and discussion with the original exhaust!
