Volo is not a chevy dealer. So is this technically being sold as used? Volo is an auto museum that does consignments, etc as well. They always gouge people and people in IL know to stay away from them.
I would be willing to sell mine for $275,000.00 It is not gouging. This is a market adjustment based on availability and demand. Just look at the price of eggs. Five times what they were a couple months ago. That means a $150,000.00 car would be worth $750,000.00.
But no one yet can walk in to a dealer and buy a Stingray off the lot at MSRP without pre-ordering.
By the end of 2020 people were saying exactly as above.
Edit: I mean a new 2023 Stingray, tons of used C8 available now.
Both MacMulkin and Ciocca have had some for sale at MSRP. They were cars that customers backed out of. They were snapped up pretty quickly. Dave S posts here when he has them available.
Right now MacMulkin shows only one but that one could be sold already. See below.
