Killjoy Blowhard or Real Deal?
Lately I have been watching a few videos on YouTube from Vette Titans. The content provider, Brandon, goes on and on in every video with relentless rants on how terrible the new C8 Z06 is and throws many of the Z06 engineers from GM under the buss with expletive ridden tirades of how incompetent they are. Everything from inadequate fuel pressure levels at extended max RPM during his high speed runs to the poorly designed ESLD, steering, etc. are included in his videos. Lawsuits are threatened against GM and he also spews any number of disparaging remarks about GM's customers. He seems to have quite an axe to grind with GM making me wonder if he is a disgruntled prior employee.
So, what's the deal with this guy? General malcontent who has to complain about everyone and everything or is there some truth thrown in with his rage filled messages? He seems to be the only one out there who is very negative on the C8 Z06. Most all other reviews of the C8Z in magazines and videos are wildly positive.

Based on his title, "GM has Neutered the Z06" and the picture of him, not the car, I don't even care enough to find out what the KJ/BH says.
His opinion does not matter at all.

Why would you need to have full throttle in turns while pulling 1.2 lateral G's in tour mode? I think the nannies are put on the car exactly for this kind of driver. Not much credibility here, no wonder his girlfriend left him. She figured it out that he is a psycho. I met him at a HPDE, he wanted to go 'FLAT OUT'!

I just wish he would address some of the “facts” he’s ranted about in previous videos that turned out to be bs. There are many. But he seems to forget about them and just goes on with his never ending bashing.

His latest video titled “C8Z is not as fast around a turn as a C7Z or base C8…” is all about the supposed limitation of the C8Z, while in tour mode, limiting the throttle body response to about 50% if it detects 1G or above in that mode. His complaint is that he can’t take corners at 1G or higher in tour mode and below 5k RPM.
Even if this is true, it’s the most ridiculous complaint I’ve heard yet. Who the heck is driving that aggressively in tour mode and below the power band? Guy continues to grasp for things to complain about and supports them with theories he pulls out of you know where.
I still watch every once in awhile for the train wreck factor. Definitely an odd, self important, angry man. A legend in his own mind.

When I first saw his videos about "issues" with the C8 Z06 (nearly a year ago at this point), I started watching some of his videos. Just a few old ones, then news ones that came out. Quickly spotted a theme.. pretty much constant rants about how everyone is an idiot and he knows everything. Combine that with his predictions for things never being right. Claims that he was in touch with GM and they were waiting to release the Z06 pricing until some website he was building was done (anyone seen this website actually live yet? lol)
I just can't take people like that seriously. Even if he is right about some things, he is just so full of nonsense the other 95% of the time I just can't listen to him. Didn't watch the video.. but if he is griping about tour mode having some excessive nannies, I think he is missing the point of tour mode. Just a nutcase looking for problems where there isn't one.

This guy is certainly a character. A lot of his videos are just rants and rants. The only constructive or perhaps "interesting" thing I learned from his videos is/was around oil temperature. Now that's not something speculative or him trolling, it's pretty obvious/factual/scientific. He idles the car for several minutes and gets the oil temps up to 160-170, starts driving and in less than 5 minutes of highway driving the temperature of the oil drops to 110F (or around that number) and stays there unless he starts keeping the revs above 6000 rpm. I find this issue real and something that GM should address. No good will come out of an engine like this having oil circulated for tens of hundreds of miles of highway driving at 110F. It doesnt matter how modern the oil is and how amazing the engine. Oil at that temp for extended periods of time is not a good idea.
As for rest of his rants about rear diff locking or CF weave not matching, he is just not someone I would take seriously.

I watched a few of his videos a while back. It's obvious this dude has issues that I'm not qualified to diagnose.

He’s a legit looneytune who likes coming up with crazy conspiracies about the c8. Been banned here multiple times as others have mentioned. My favorite was some crazy theory about radio frequencies disabling the car when the stingray was still being tested all based on a single video of one getting stuck at a gas station
