There's 300 miles on the car. Maybe they're selling it as used in which case the ADM doesn't apply?

So for all you haters, tell me why then if I charged 100.00 a sheet for plywood during a hurricane or 10.00 dollars a gallon, they will prosecute me? Whats the difference? Supply and demand is still the drive? Oh one last parting thought. Its been a while since I have been on the forum, even though I have been here for over 10 years. But for those that can not just move on if you don't like something and are overwhelmingly compelled to add negative comments instead of just moving on, I hope you have a great day, week, month, and coming year. I wish you this because it will probably be another year or two before I give a **** enough to post anything else. Thank you for affirming my opinion of social media accounts.

there is no chance of finding a decent 458 for 80k -120k Maybe one that’s been totaled and in a flood and was part of a rental fleet with 100k miles on it.

Simple answer to this question: Gouging people in a disaster scenario for things they need to survive is illegal because people NEED those things to not die... no one NEEDS a $150,000 plus dollar sports car... they WANT a $150,000 plus sports car, and wont die if they dont get it. The reality of the world is some people have more money and are willing to pay more to have it first... Two options, pay to play now, or sit patiently on a list to pay MSRP. Folks can whine and cry about it in these threads between now and the end of time and it wont change the fact that its still going to happen because consumers allow it to happen.

I read and comprehend just fine. You suggested a sticky thread as sarcasm. Now you want to back track that though. And the reason why people are upset about the current adm is because sellers are doubling the price of the of the car that really doesn't have the build quality as other brands. You still see massive amounts of orange peel, interior work on some has been so/so, etc. Then you add in the overall dealer experience which is horrible compared to marquee brands and now you know why people are upset.

Oh please your reaching like an animal here with this nonsense. I will never forget my buddy picking up his brand new in 2012 I think it was ferrari 458 roughly 250k car at the time? and having to bring it immediately to a detail shop to get paint corrected and get the orange peel out etc. The interior in those cars has leather that peals away from the itself on the dash and generally on very low mileage garage queen cars the interior looks like **** worn and beat. No car is pefect they all have issues and the C8 is no different but to suggest the build quality is sub par compared to theirs? Please stop your bs.

Just a few people "fishing". Doesn't mean some will not catch a "whale".

That is one nice car! My friend is taking delivery soon.
Not quite. The AF version I saw yesterday had an MSRP of $488.
Possible to get one, as the dealer expects more allocations to come through, but it'll for certain be a long wait.
I test drove it, quite a bit different than the F8. I like it, will most likely throw my hat in the ring.

Based on the responses of what a "used" Porsche GT3 costs, or a New Ferrari 296, these people have NO FREAKING IDEA what things cost today. A Z06 is a bargain, even with ADM. Go try and buy something as mundane a Bronco Raptor for sticker and see what happens. Cars are expensive...
As an aside, drove the 2022 GT3 a couple days ago and for what its worth, that car is worth every penny you have to pay for it. It was simply a whole different level of car from anything I have tried before. Even the 2016 GT3RS was "old" in comparison. Just incredible.

I meant after you make $100k profit on the Z06 obviously....but I have yet to see any evidence of someone actually paying $100k over

It is, the reviews are quite favorable. Sound is decent (better than the F8) and it is dialed in nicely at mid-range.
I’ve asked the dealer to place me on the list, and although not guaranteed to get one, I’m reasonably certain it’ll happen. One thing about Ferrari is they are completely transparent about delivery prospects. I’ve not experienced dealer games.
What is certain is it’ll be a long wait.

Doesn't change the reality that there are loads of examples all over the internet of brand new Ferraris needing/receiving paint correction. I'd suggest you visit a Ferrari dealership and LOOK at the paint quality of a new Ferrari.
Here's an especially good one. CF member Todd Cooperider documenting his work on...a LaFerrari. You'd think for a cool million they'd get the paint right.

If GM only could meet demand they would make a killing. They need a logistics guru, some former USMC junkyard dog general who can crack skulls up and down the supplier chain to get BGA running 24/7. This is war, damnit!

You are not serious are you? The government fixes problems? If serious, you may want to leave your government job and find out what the real world is really about.
If facetious, ha ha.

I have confirmed with many dealers that have people paying $100k over. I know this because they went down their lists and passed me over because I wasn't willing to go that high, and they informed me others did. It's not something that generally is advertised all over forums.
