I’m not clicking.

Would someone be kind enough to describe the issue?

Looks like his Z06 was leaking quite a bit of transmission fluid.

Car pissed out a bunch of fluid. He thinks its transmission fluid, but I'm not so sure.

It's in his below ground garage that takes an elevator to get in an out. He's experiencing the fact that you can't get it in neutral without having the car running. He's afraid to start the car because it pissed out a bunch of fluid.

Thats the first few minutes.

By the end of the video they were able to move the car and showed that it was A LOT of fluid on the ground. Definitely not a good look when it comes to some early VIP influencer marketing lol

Well, so much for all the guys bragging about how the Z06 has improved the DCT over the base car.

This is not good. Also not sure if its oil or transmission fluid.

Question. When C8's lose their transmission, how many of them lose their fluid? I thought most of them was just some code and needed software reset?

Reminds me of the time a (then) new Z06 was in the dealership service bay up on the rack, running... Just running...

The tech and I were talking, and there was a lady in a pant suit nearby the car... I asked, why was it in the shop and up on the lift running?

Tech said the owner thought the car had an oil leak and was dripping oil on the floor... Brand new Z06....

Anyways, lady in the pant suit was "handling the car" for its owner... I asked, who's the owner...

It was Sen. Kerry's black Z06

Turned out the "OIL" was just condensation from the weep holes in the exhaust...

Now, imagine the fact this guy couldn't tell the difference between OIL and WATER . ...simply amazing

That looks like quite the failure on that transmission. It very well may have been all of the fluid and with only 900 miles on it. Not a great start forsure.

Knowing this clown (Stradman), he probably didn't follow any of the break-in procedures and started hammering on the car as soon as he bought it.

I've lurked here a while and dont quite understand why people promote youtube videos so others get clicks. Especially when you could just tell everyone what happened. Oh well, thats just me.

LOL, I'm sure everyone with a Stingray DCT failure did not follow break in either.

I’ve wondered this out loud before and was sent on a little vacation over it. Just FYI, you may not want to bring it up again. If I had to guess (not complaining), YouTube and this site’s parent company may have something in place.
