Default When are Z06's expected to hit market?

I suppose nobody really has the answer for this. But was curious if anyone had a sense of when Z06's will start being delivered to customers.

Kind of getting the itch to get myself into a C8 Stingray, but would be curious to see what the Z06 markups look like before doing so.

Thanks so much!

Folks are going to be amazed at how quickly vehicle demand evaporates over the next 8 months. We are headed into serious trouble with this economy and the way the Fed is tightening the noose. Consumer debt is at all-time highs. It is going to be a hard landing and cars and real-estate are going to be hit the hardest, relative to where the prices are right now. Those C8s on dealer lots... they won't be able to give them away for more than $55K.

The first customer Z06 we have delivery confirmation of outside of Hendrick's VIN 0001 is a guy that posted his car is scheduled to be built week of 10/20 and scheduled for museum delivery 11/3. It doesn't appear that any C8Z cars have been shipped out yet but supposedly at least 14 customer cars have been built.

$50K over isn't an option!

If I'm seeing base 2LZ's in the $140K range I'm game!

Really appreciate the insightful answer on this! So likely December or January 2023 is when we'll start to see this in a bit more force.

Here is what is built so far. There may be a few selective VINS also but dont know what those are

12 70th anniversary cars built Vin’s P5700001 - P5700012

11 non 70th cars. Vins P5600001 - P5600011

If you are trying to pick up a used one, expect any real volume of these to be much further out. It's unlikely many if any early ones will go up for sale soon. There just won't be very many if at all until later 2023. Then you also have to remember that if people do want to put theirs on the market, they will most likely wait an additional 6 months to make sure they sell a car with a warranty. Bottom line, it will be a long while before you see any real options at buying a new or used Z06 for anything less than $50K over MSRP. Probably well into 2024 would be my guess. To pick up any used z06 for $140K won't be for many years IMHO. I suspect the 1LZ's will be a min of $175K all through 2023 and into 2024.

You may be waiting a while. Maybe order the stingray and enjoy it for a year or two (or three or four).

The only C8Z you are finding for $140K on the used market in the next 5 years is going to be a rebuilt title if you are lucky.

Don’t even bother waiting to see if that’s your budget. You won’t find one.

$50k is a generous estimate. It’ll be $75-100k over for the first round. Probably will hold steady $50-75k over for the next year or more.

I would say much longer than a year since after 4 years Stingrays are still getting over sticker by thousands.

THe dumb base C8 market has cooled. Still has a ways to go, but the days of extra extra profit are done

not really, Many dealers are saying around 12 months, A year ago the average was 8. And if and when they start going heavy on the Z06’s it might go to 18 months to get a C8.

I agree. Used C8 Stingrays are still over MSRP here, but in the $8k-$12k range over MSRP rather than the CRAZY numbers they were 18 months ago.

you didn’t read. A C8 3 years old over 5,000 miles just received $12,000 over MSRP. Am still seeing stuff like this every day
