The drag race we've all wanted....

MUCH better traction with the Cup 2Rs than the PS/4s. And yes, lower mass on the CF wheels and CC brakes mean the wheels spin up faster.

That Ferrari is so gorgeous I’d take it over the other two despite its deficiencies. The Z06 is actually looking much better to me than the Lambo, which is kinda looking dated IMO. Great showing for the Z06. Can’t wait to get mine.

GM is covering all their bases with the youtubers they are supporting. Savage Geese with the in depth analysis, Speed Phenom with track laps, Emelia with drag racing, EddieX to reach out to the Asian American community, etc.

She is running 109 octane in the car, I wonder if the other two cars have the same fuel.
I dont know Lambo line up that well. Which Evo is this? How much does it weigh and what power does it make?
And also why does the driver use manual shifting? Too much room for error.
The real test I want to see is a roll race of a 911 Turbo S and Z06 (without Z07). Both make identical downforce. Both make identical power to weight (actually vette has an edge) and AWD is useless from a roll.

As UE likes to say these are "real world results."

I believe it is the same Rapid Blue Z07/Z06 from that earlier video, but she doesn't mention anything about using it for this one. Nor does she mention if the other two cars are using it either, so yeah, there could be a few more variables in play here.
I'd say it would be odd for her to use it and not mention it like she did in the other video since she seems pretty straightforward about that kind of stuff. My guess is either she didn't use it at all, or they used it in all 3 so it wasn't worth mentioning.
-Just my op of course.

Who cares. An LS swapped Pinto would bet them all in this type of "test." Professional/Semi-Professional drivers putting down lap times is what the non-New Balance Z06 owners want to see.

If all of you people even listened to what she says in the drag video... she says "yesterday when we raced the z06 against the lambo...". This video was done before the drag video so all this 109 octane made up crap is fake.
I'll never understand why most people on this forum constantly try to undermine the z06. Probably because you'll never get one.....

She added the higher octane fuel as they only have 91 octane in California. She was trying to get at least 93. It is not likely the ECU can use octane higher than 93 for more power without a tune I am guessing.

Some of those races seem legit but i think the EVO is faster than it is. But to make emelia's video look good, he had to lose. Why was he bouncing the rev limiter for? That's his car so he should know how to drive it. Doesn't that car run 10.4 stock? On paper it's faster than the z06, as she said. But the real world is not real when the owner is making his car lose on purpose to make the z06 look good.
He didn't have to because the z06 is badass. But the video is corny because most of those wins were fake.

She has another video from Monday where she takes the car to the drag strip. In there she cant run faster than 11 seconds and 127-128 mph at first. Then she gets on the phone with Chevy and is given some tips, one of which is a different launch control sequence. The other is some race gas to make sure car runs on 93 octane at least. There is a shot where someone with a red gas canister filling something into the gas tank. I'm guessing thats 109. We have no idea how much is put in. After that car suddenly pulls 10.5 @ 131.4 mph, a decent improvement. I believe if I were her, having experienced that, I'd run 109 mix in the tank going forward if I am racing anyone.

Do you recognize the other poster in this thread who I'm pretty sure has two previously banned accounts? lol
