That's not what they care about.... they want the least expensive car, with the lowest weight, most HP, most tq, highest rpm, quickest 0-60, quickest 1/4 mile, highest top speed, 10 cup holders and a hand that reaches out from the wall of buttons.....and $50 track tires that last 50,000 miles. Anything less and someone's bitching. They want their cake, with extra frosting and they want to eat it. The horror.

That would mean that the C8 Z06 accelerates harder than the much more powerful C7 ZR1 and it's right there with a fully prepped Dodge Demon with just a driver's seat.

I have a 327ci 9000 RPM 580hp 9.70 @ 138 nhra super stock drag car and with 12" wide 30" tall slicks it still spins the tires with the front wheels in the air if the track isn't made of super glue.
Fully prepped Dodge Demon, lol.

This is as-reported by the PDR in the car which is "optimistic" I believe the 2.5-2.6 reported elsewhere is likely more accurate. Still, not slow for a 2 WD street tire car.

Most people don't really understand how quick a 10.5 ET is from a seat of the pants perspective.
I think track prep and tires will be the biggest factors for max performance, especially at the 1/4 mile.
Put a drag radial on the car on a prepped track (like Dodge did) and it could see lower 10's, though mph will likely hover around 130 or so.

For the DA, mph isn't bad. I think in low DA or neg it will trap 2-4 mph quicker. I think you will see minimal aero cars with a well prepped track in super low DA get into the 10.30s or better.

Others have logged 131-131.6... Its only 670 fwhp in a 3660 lb car. It takes the ZR1 85 mph hp to go 2-4 more mph. DA plays a roll as well. It was 1800-2200 for Emilia which can easily be 1-2 mph short of a good 0-400 day. Fuel quality earlier in the day was iffy with California 91 as well. No telling if the ECM had gone into a lower octane table or a hybrid based timing table because of the 91 fuel.

Since none of her times, or any of the reported times came from a Dragy, they just don't count, as we have been told hundreds of times.

I am surprised how many care about drag racing this car. I see it as a road racing car, and want to see how it competes with cars like the Porsche GT3RS. If a 1/4 mile is your thing, buy a Tesla. They will beat every Corvette, Dodge, Ford, etc. made.

Car can move... but I laugh at you guys who split hairs over 0-60 times. The car has basically a race tire on a prepped drag strip. Of course it's going to be quick. I did a poll on here once and like 95% of you have never even run you car down a drag strip in real life and have no understanding of how it works.

+aero.
Don't forget aero drag. This is a big contributor for trap speed.
A car needs 10.17 times more power at 130mph than it needs at 60mph, just because of drag. Take out all of the Z07 aero from that car leave everything else as is (use standard Z06 aero) and it will trap above 135.
