The lead banner on MECF even shows no more allocations this year.

I hope there's not more bad news coming soon.

I am 86 on a list of a major dealer and now suspect I won't see a car until the end of 2024, unless something significant occurs.
I have to wonder, at this rate, how long before the cars overlap, i.e. E ray /ZR1? Additionally, given every maker including Ford, Dodge, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, etc., are heading toward EV's what impact such delays will have on Z06 (potential) buyers decision making.

When was that? The first allocation was 281 and Chevy announced yesterday that there will be no more allocations this year, so how does 281 grow to 1000? Was Chevy including CTF cars that would eventually get sold? Maybe GM said they would "produce" 1000 this year, but that doesn't mean any more than the current 281 will get allocated.

A few posts later he says that is what he was told by "Harlan and Kieth." I know who Harlan is, not sure about Keith.

OK I read that. Now I will follow up there and find out how, if they only issued 281 allocations in that first round, where did the other 719 allocations come from and what dealers got those allocations. Does GM have a new "secret allocation" process that they won't tell about?

Who knows at this point.

Chevy didn't just drop the ball on the Z06 rollout, they then kicked it into the sewer. I feel bad for you guys that just got another 6 months added to the ridicules wait time you already had. The curious thing to me is why no announcement on the Stingray? Just Z06s, but what is the cause? Obviously not a common part between them.

I am throwing a wild a-- guess. Either when GM looks at their entire fleet the Z06 puts them into using more of their existing EPA credits or they have to buy more EPA credits than they thought they needed or there is a technical problem with either the engine/transmission that requires them to do a very slow and controlled rollout. When they stated there was a 10% plant restriction this was the first clue that an issue exists. Now with the last BS--something is going on behind the scenes that GM does not want us to know about.

Having read thru 10 pages on another forum my understanding is the following:
I read thru all the pages and my summary is Chevy will build 1000 Z06s before the end of the year for customers. 281 will go thru the normal allocation process that was a correction from earlier that morning. The rest are subject to some non-standard undisclosed Chevy process.
I know of one fellow that got an allocation from a Phoenix dealer in the first 281 group, likely 3LZ, HTC, non Z07. From all reports that was the only allocation to any dealer in the Phoenix metro area of 5 million people.

You early at big dealer guys like myself will be happy to know that instead of getting your car, you can watch a youtuber that got on a list later at a smaller dealer with their Z06.... Even some of their bootlicker fans say they worked harder than me (recording videos) so they deserve to skip the line, lmao
People should get cars in order of their deposits, not let so called celebrities skip the line and get them. No need for anymore advertising... Some of them didn't know what a Corvette was when guys were getting on Z06 lists.

I guess, lol. The Z06 reveal video is when they started to know what it was, or just the C8 stingray in general made them aware of the platform and the rumors of more variants coming. GM definitely doesn't need to be giving youtubers cars first to advertise for them.. If they got on the list years back like some of us, that's fine. I am sure streetspeed got on one several years back, but you can't tell me some of these newer youtubers getting the Z06 got on lists 3 or more years ago. I'm not talking press cars but personal cars.

I can't see how a 3000 order Sept 4 will be produced and delivered in 3 weeks.
