Plans on using your Z06?
Been browsing all the threads lately. Seems that the product rollout is worse than a lot of people expected.
My question to you all is; if you do ever get the car, what are your plans to use it? Daily driver, track only, whatever.
I'm trying to gauge to see what uses for the car do you people have in mind.

Complete toy for me. Will track it a small amount to see how it handles, will go on some drives with it. Overall just buying it as another toy. I really like the idea of the engine so hoping it's as good as it could be.

Everything... I'd like to put 200,000 miles on the car.

Everything. Daily driver, random cruises, road trips, meets, track days/HPDE. My work commute is only 25 miles round trip 0-3 days a week max so not heavy mileage on a daily basis. There's a lot of road trips I like to do to go to the beach and see the country. Similar use case to my C8 just add 2000rpms to everything.

Daily driver, though I won't put tens of thousands of boring highway miles on it like I did the C7 since it's a large FPC engine. Fun road trips sure, but boring highway miles seem unwise for this engine's longevity.

Omg you guys are planning on driving them? These need to be kept in a climate controlled garage for the next 12 months for ultimate resale value next year. I'm wondering if I should drive the car home from the dealer or have it towed from the showroom to my garage!
Jk jk. Mine will be used for a mix of everything. Will probably take it to the drag strip once, hopefully can make it out to the road course a couple of times. But other than that, mostly just driving around town. Will have it at our local car shows. Might do a supercar rally with it next fall.

Daily driver in grid-lock rush hour traffic. Really put CCBs to good use, and that acceleration to 22 mph over 50 feet before braking hard will be priceless.

It's a toy that will be driven on nice days. I might take it to the track at some point just to see what it does but it will be a street car

Waxer, climate controlled garage queen, take it out on perfect days occasionally on our perfect Nevada roads. Nice drives through some canyons. Might drive it to Spring Mountain in Pahrump and rag on theirs for school.

My C8 Stingray use case: I work from home so...gym, errands and mountain runs in the summer. My C8 has been my daily for about a year, but recently picked up a Camaro for my teenager and I am getting more seat time in it. When I jump back in the C8 it feels special vs. when I daily it. So I think the Z06 may become a weekend toy.

I want to say "daily", but since I work from home, and so does my wife, and we have an X5 diesel for the baby/mom, I have a 335d (diesel), and an S2000, it unfortunately won't be driven as much as I'd like. It will be my main track / time attack car though, so I'll put it through its paces.
