2LZ vs 3LZ

You do realize that if you option GT2 seats on your 2LZ, the cost difference between your 2LZ and the 3LZ is $3k, right?
On a car you are already over 6 figures on, why would you not pay just 3k extra for:
Leather throughout
Napa leather on seats
Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel w/leather horn pad
Carbon Fiber Paddles
Suede Upper interior trim
Ability to choose dipped interior option (if that's your thing)
Better resale value.
They are raping you at 2LZ. To be clear, I am getting 1LZ because I don't care about anything 2LZ or 3LZ offers but if I was considering 2LZ, there is no reason to not just go 3LZ for $3k more on a car that's costing you close to or over $140k

Do I need to get 3LZ if I want solid black interior with red stitching? I hate the look of carbon fiber and don't want the 3LZ package because of that. I couldn't find a way to add red stitching in the Visualizer on any config.

I also want black interior with red stitching (currently have this on my C8). I will choose the 3LZ if this is the only way to get it, else 2LZ for me.

3LZ is the only way to get colored stitch options.

For all concerned with sun damage to leather on dash, YOu should ABSOLUTELY get your front windshield tinted. Bonus tip: You can even go with an illegal tint (I've never had a single issue with police due to front windshield tint). It's a absolute MUST and the first thing I do to any car I drive.

I’m planning on ceramic tint, 20% on the sides and back interior window (or exterior if I go HTC), and either 70% or 55% on the windshield. Feeling brave and leaning 55%, you can tell unlike 70% which is barely noticeable, but you can still clearly see in… and more importantly out at night.
I haven't seen high VLT film in person but am considering this for Z06.

Is the 55% that much better on the windshield than 70% if the 70% film is good at UV blocking like 3M's Crystaline? The 70% looks like it provides about 90% of the benefits of the 50% film. https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b00016683/

If you have money always get anything you wonder if you want or not. If you don't have the money, it doesn't matter. You always regret less what you do than what you don't (always wondering).t

This a dumb question...
So 3LZ
Leather throughout
Suede Upper interior trim
What are the doors and panels trimmed with in 2LZ if not leather? And what is the 2LZ upper trim.
Thanks

Having said that, the 1LT/1LZ/2LT/2LZ interiors aren't bad. Its just that the 3LT/3LZ are nicer if you prefer the materials.

Thanks for the RKCRLR.
I feel like I'll need the camera mirror and the rear cross traffic feature. I sat in the yellow show car at the dealer tour. I can't see around those flanks well. I also want GT2 seats so with the price difference between 2LZ and 3LZ I might as well get a 3LZ.

My biggest reason for not going 1LZ was the blind spot monitoring. After driving a car with that in significant traffic everyday I didn’t want to lose that option.. Once you commit the money to 2LZ
the Front Lift, GT2 seats, and front camera where very important to me. When you are already spending all that money I went 3LZ.

What do you recommend treating the leather with in the problem areas like the dash then for those of us keeping the car long term? I was under the impression that those conditioners were a waste due to the polymer coating they treat the leather with.
My car will be garage parked and I also plan to ceramic tint the windshield.

I went 1LZ for that reason, and between a rear camera mirror that is standard with my HTC build (but also they sell nice aftermarket ones even if you don't have an HTC) and those small stick-on blind spot mirrors you stick on top of your existing side mirrors, should have full visibility.
