I see the ERay kicking butt for anyone who auto crosses. A Z06 is too much power for auto crossing. The SR is good but the ERay will shine here. Also as others said who live is an area of bad weather who want to drive it. Last for people who don't need or want the Z06 but likes the wide body like the C7 GS.

Emelia is probably the only one with an actual connection to GM. They like her, and clearly show her deference (well, at least the marketing department does). She was also the only one that was testing the Z06 out on a track when it launched. The rest have as much information and insight as anyone else on these forums - not much. Most of these youtubers can't even get bumped to the front of a dealership list.
To be fair to Emelia, she's kind of earned her spot. She invested in making the fastest C8 out there with her own resources. That's when GM noticed, probably also really like promoting a non-typical corvette person (aka not an over 60 male), and saw a relationship as a win win. If I was in their marketing department I would have also seen her as a great opportunity for the brand.

Horsepower Obsessed isn’t really in the same category as the others. His channel is fairly small.
Speed Phenom is a rich kid driving McLarens. Compared to that, a Z06 is a bargain.
Emelia also has a lot of money, but she’s working for GM. What else is she going to say?

YT is crazy now. Commercials between the videos and commercials from their sponsors in the videos and then they themselves are salespeople. You’re just watching 100% ads.

i've been signed up for the $10 a month version for several years and no ads ever. as much as you tube is linked and with as much content is on you tube it's easily worth it. nothing like trying to watch a video embedded in a forum and having to watch ads. sign up, it's worth it. plus you get the music app and whatever else.

I say this as someone who will likely buy a Z06 but am currently having doubts. The price isn't an issue per se but more the value and the severe escalation in expected price. Thinking I could get a German luxury at this price point. My rub beyond this is the literal propaganda from YouTube influencers like Emelia, horsepower obsessed, speed phenom etc who talk about how great of a VALUE they get. I just don't like disingenuous guerilla campaigns. Turns me off. This thread will probably be deleted.
Compare it to the Stingray, which has more capabilities you can really use on the street, and the value is questionable. It's all about your priorities, wants and needs.
Emelia works for GM. The others bought their cars. Making up "facts" and posting them online doesn't make them facts for youtubers or for you.

I can’t stand either one of them, she buys and builds cars for her channel to make money, nothing wrong with that. As far as looks go not seeing it at all.
This Phenom kid - well I was always blown away at how he got swindled on the purchase of that McClaren that had thousands of dollars of damage to the undercarriage of the car, pieces ducked taped together- really.
A real car guy would never have not seen that, before purchasing. I make dealers plate the cars on a four post before I buy and that’s new or used. So he either put on a show about not knowing about the damage- or he’s not the guy he pretends to be …

I have never made my buying decisions based solely on YT videos.
