Buddy…….what would you TRULY rather own ? Be transparent and honest ……..if you can. You can’t simply hate and hate Italians and German cars. .Pure performance style and speed and technology are what is valuable.
A brand new 495HP 2022 C8 Z51 built to your specifications or one of the following : Porsche 718 GT4 , Ferrari 430, Ferrari 458 or a 992 GT3
RANK them …..be serious .

I am always honest and serious...
I don't know if we are having a RETRO discussion, a Hypercar discussion or a new car discussion or just a track car discussion...I don't see anything newer than 12 years old in your list...?
the 458 being the newest platform of them all launched in 2009, The GT4 is a 2016 refresh of a 2009 platform as well, and the 992 GT3 is a 30+ year old refresh.
So if we are talking RETRO 'dive in the past' out of your list it's a solid 458 from me based on aesthetics GT riding and sufficient durability based on local logistics support.
Hypercar, money is not a factor, I would pit the name Ferrari with McLaren and find a third like Pagani or Koenigsegg and see what comes on top based on aesthetics, performance, comfort and support logistics credibility and take it from there. I am not in the 1% financial bracket so that's for that..
NEW SPORT CARS to own to drive versus tracking.. There is a lot to choose from the new luxury sports car segment and everybody I suppose has their top 5. My top 5 are all cabrio/ spiders and personally I see new and exiting good stuff out of both England and Japan good enough to match my German current favorite which is the AMG-GT Spyder which I think it is now middle of the pack.
My new top 5 cars I pit against the Z06 to see who gets my money...
Ferrari F8 Spyder (the only car I would buy stretching my budget for cars)
Lexus LC 500 Spyder
Jaguar F-type SVR Cabrio
AMG-GT Spyder
BMW M8 Cabrio
Honorable mentions but not quite there...Porsche 992 911 turbo S (solid all around car but the 992 ride took a hit to save weight) and Maserati MC20 (aesthetically my favorite but no cabrio)

2020 C6 of the Year Winner - Modified
Imo, Ferrari is the pinnacle of sports car design & engineering. Hence why Chevrolet consistently copies them in both departments for each Corvette generation. Chevy is just typically 2 generations behind.
Doesn’t mean I don’t love Corvettes, or that Corvettes don’t have better performance numbers than those “exotics”, and especially a better price. But the fact remains, a Corvette will never be desired like a Ferrari.

I own both a C8 Z51 & a 458 Spider
The Automatic in the C8 is way better than the 458
(Z Mode, Track Transmission, Track Exhaust, not sure if that makes a difference)
However, Paddle shifting in the 458 is way better than the C8.
C8 its better than the C7 Paddle Shift experience, but still not like the Ferrari.
Ferraris are more "Raw" you feel the Road in the Wheel, plus that 9200 rpm roar...
Shifts are Violent, where the Corvette is "Next Gear Please" to the Point where Automatic Mode is better.
My 458 I bought used with "Sticky Buttons" already addressed.
2015 Leather is in fine shape.
The 458 has Bluetooth for the Phone, but I had to buy a Aftermarket to hook to the "Old Style non-Lightning" iPod Cord in the Dash... its a Ferrari thing... tho People usually say what do you need a Radio for in a Ferrari, listen to the Symphony Behind You... but that was also useful for Navigation from the Phone.
C8 Interior is a Step up from my C7 & Way above my C5
458 Maybe feels more Luxurious but I Love the Dash design on both.
Both are Beautiful in their own way

Ferrari 360 is a great car if you never drive it. Front wheels hit fender lips on sharp turns, Air bag leather cover becomes loose, top of dash pad shrinks, hydraulic pistons leak , $3500 to $ 5000 to change timing belt at 30 thousand miles, sticky buttons, ECU issues, transmission F1 shift issues. Love those foreign cars Best part of the car is the exhaust sound

I've thought about Porsche GT3, but once I get it to a Config I like I say "Well... I could buy a Ferrari for that & not be bugged by the VW Bug Headlights..." tho the Headlights are getting better (less VW Buggish)
