corvette purchases a ferrari
Got some inside scoop that Chevrolet just purchased a SF90 for a track mule to use as comparison for the new ZR1. Thought this might be interesting to some of you

Here's hoping they benchmark the interior while they're at it.

I would think that's for the C9 this late in the game. ZR1 should have already been on the drawing board and preparing for camouflage in the next couple years. Part of the reason for the 458 was to understand how Ferrari designed and built the ME platform. They have the C8 platform and probably already understand enough about hybridization to roll out the e-ray and TT variant.

It's not necessarily to inform them of how to build the car. It's more likely about how the car responds. Suspension and powertrain tuning. This is about the experience and the little details rather than the big engineering concepts.

It's not so much about the materials as the layout for me. The C8 interior design is just awkward. There's no flow to it at all. It's a bunch of hard edges all running into each other at odd angles.

While its a great news item...I'm not a fan of the SF90. And I like Ferrari stuff...
If its true, that means for many of us....Advantage Z06!
