70th Anniversary question

70th Anniversary question
I am just wondering in terms of rarity, if it makes sense to order one of the 70th Anniversary editions (If given the opportunity with a single digit number on my dealers list) I like both colors and was thinking that I read that they are only going to make 1000?? Does anyone know if that's true?
Maybe I have that wrong, but just thinking down the line in terms of collectibility. My only hesitation is the wheels and the red striping....would rather have the CF wheels...
Any thoughts would be much appreciated...

My opinion - get what you like the most, not what is the most "collectible."

was told that they will make however many get ordered. Than the rare-ability will just be based on how many get ordered.
I am considering it as well, however it depends on the price.
If I start with a 2LZ & add the anniversary package… it cost X amount of dollars.
Then i do another equation with a 2LZ plus Z07 in it cost X amount of dollars
Which one is the better deal?
Which one cost more?
Which one will give my family a better return or quicker resale if something were to happen and my family needed to sell it.
Which one will I enjoy more, which is the most important question!
Z06 is a performance car, so if budget is a concern and you’re going to go one way or the other, as I probably will with 4 other historically important Corvettes in the ‘barn’…. Is it better to go with luggage and colors or carbon fiber and down force?

I have never really seen them stick to a hard number on an Anniversary Edition car. Cars like the 2011 Carbon Edition or the 2008 Cooksey Edition or Ron Fellows Edition cars get limited. They did stick to 1,000 1996 Grand Sports. But the 25th, 35th, 40th, 50th and 65th "Annivesrsary Edition" cars were built to order or more than they had originally estimated. So, as far as collectability, time will tell. Order it loaded and place it in a bubble. Just my .02 cents.

Even though I do not care for white cars AT ALL, I do like the anniversary white edition and am considering it. If it had a red interior, there would be no question but i don't care for the interior so am on the fence. I am #112 at Ciocca so should get one this year. I also have some of the same questions myself. If not anniversary, it will probably Elkhart Blue.

My question is can you get the white pearl metallic without getting all the rest of the 70th anniversary options ? The visualizer will let you start by selecting the 70th pearl white option & then changing the colors for interior & options, but I'm not sure if you can actually get it ordered that way. I just want pearl white without all that other 70th anniversary stuff.

Yes, I am waiting to see what the rules are on whether you need 3LZ for the anniversary.
I want to say that I read somewhere that you could order it in any convenience group?

3LZ IS Required. Will they limit it to 1000? I don’t know but with it being a 3LZ Requirement and the low production of 23’s they might end up building less then 1000.

What makes you think there will be low production of the MY2023s? More than likely they will run thru the normal production time in July 2023, so 14 months for normal C8s and likely at least 12 months for the Z06.
