This explains the Carbom Flash and Metallic white speed shape color samples that showed up at a Z06 display a month ago or so. Someone got a picture, and they were removed shortly thereafter.

What would be the advantage of getting an anniversary edition? Will they be more valuable years from now like the Centennial editions?

Glad the white has pearl, but carbon flash again? Really, GM? Ugh.
What a letdown. Sticking with orange

The model display at SEMA showed 14 colors (artic white & black included), but it really wouldn't make sense for them to offer both Arctic White and the Pearl White, same with Black & Carbon Flash. For 99.9% of people, they're the same colors, respectively.

Very disappointed in the color combinations for the anniversary cars. There is so much hype and demand for these cars, but it doesn't appear that nearly much thought or care was put into the anniversary package. Hard pass for me.

Some of the nicest Lambo's. Ferrari's, Aston Martin's I've seen have been Pearl White! This mis-mash however is just confused AF. I just don't get it, they just can't never come out with a true "special" edition instead of what they've been doing for years? Make it a true Collectors piece and people will pay top dollar for it Adding sticker and different colors does not make it more special. They need a new design team to head this so called Dept.!!!

In April of 2023 it will be my 70th birthday. I am on a list for a 2023 Z06 that the dealer estimates that I should have the actual car by February-April of 2023. With that said, it would be nice to get the 70th anniversary edition, but the price with the addition of a 3LZ requirement and 70th anniversary pkg. will make it too expensive for me! Thinking of going with a 2LZ Coupe (Non Z07) with just the machine faced wheels and bright red calipers as options. Thinking again of getting Silver Flare exterior and Adrenaline red interior.

While I have not seen the paint up close. I have seen a number of "Pearl White" over the last 20 years. I don't recall one actual pearl paint. They have been a metallic paint. Having had a car custom painted in the late 70's that was actually pearl. What they do today from the factory is not pearl.

GM's color selection team is bankrupt of ideas.

I guess they had to lessen the excitement for the Z06 somehow.

So far the Corvette has had a 25th, 35th, 40th, 50th, 60th and soon to be a 70th Anniversary model. Of all those, the 25th and 50th were the only milestone anniversaries, the rest are just money makers for GM.

Centennial Edition ($5k pkg available on all trim levels) for the 100th anniversary of GM, and Carbon 65 for the 65th Anniversary ($15k pkg available on GS & Z06).

While there’s been huge strides this generation, some old habits still die hard for GM.

They almost did it with the Carbon Edition Z06, almost. It has many performance enhancements over the standard Z06 with the Z07 Ultimate Performance Pkg, but then they made an equivalent number of Z07 cars the same year - basically the same car without the decal pkg, gray wheels instead of black, and black roof instead of body-colored. Then offered the Z07 pkg for 2012-2013. The Carbons still command a good deal of $ over a standard Z06, but they shouldve just left it at 252. It's all about the $ though.
