Would you put down a nonrefundable deposit for a Z06
One of our members questioned, if it wouldn't have been better to require a nonrefundable deposit to weed out many of the 5,000 people who sent in deposits, which were on multiple lists and maybe people who are thinking about flipping the cars. So, for those that have participated, let's find out.
Would you have participated had the deposit been a non-refundable $1,000 Yes No
Would you have participated had the deposit been a non-refundable $2,000 Yes No

While I wouldn't personally do it. It may be a good way of removing the speculators and flippers. $5k non refundable deposit, would really display the customers who are serious about buying the z06.

Shure, if you know your place in line and MSRP is guaranteed.

I would have. I actually hoped Ciocca would have gone with non-refundable to reduce the competition haha

I’d prefer not to, but had MM required it when I got #134 I would have have had no issue with up to a $5k non refundable deposit.

So then when you get your MSRP jacked up at the last minute you lose money walking. I agree with the others though in a vacuum it would stop the flippers.

Yes, assuming it secured a decent spot at MSRP.
