Roll call... Who's willing to pay $50k over MSRP
Will dealers be successful doubling the price of the car. Hard loaded $130k~$140k plus $50k ouch...
Just so you can be the first kid on the block with the new toy.
Are there others willing to pay $60k~$100k over MSRP?
Are there hundreds of these people that will get one at any cost?

A lot of the people with enough money that $50K is not much to think about are probably not on the Corvette Forum and are adding a Z06 to a collection that goes beyond Corvettes.

Anyone with 150k to blow will most likely not do it on a Chevy Z06.

There will be tons of people. Theres' like 20 million millionaires in the US alone and people have money burning a hole in their pockets these days it seems. YOLO!
Heck they had no problems selling $60K base Stingrays with $20K+ markups 2+ years after they introduced it... Imagine the Z06.... $50K will not be an issue for first year Z06s' because the demand will far outweighs the supply. Heck look at the nut-so Ciocca threads on here. Thousands of people wired money and only a few hundred will get a first year car. Anyone who thinks there is not enough demand out there for dealers and private sellers to get $50K markups is not paying attention.
It's why Rick Conti is doing the blind bidding auction for his Z06's, I bet he gets a lot of bids over $50K for the first allocations.

At least at Ferrari, If you get on the list, and wait, you are guaranteed to buy at MSRP.
You CAN, then, immediately sell it back to the dealer for whatever the market will bear.

200K for a new Chevy ain't my cup o' tea no matter how capable it is. I'd take that amount of money to a company that lets me pick my color, fully customize my interior, and has more white glove buying experience. Not a company I have to wait in line behind Chevy Sonics for service at a dealer across from a cow pasture.

You'd have been better off paying $100k adm.
It's like your Chevy dealer telling you you have to buy five Malibus and two Equinoxes to get a Z06 at sticker.
You'd be better off with a $50k ADM and no headaches.

Ha, do you know how many Lusso type depreciation bombs you had to buy to get a Pista allocation?
