How many of you guys wish the ZO6 boomerang didn't have that ugly piece going towards the rear of the car. Should of made it just like the C8R!

There are a few things I don't like about the Z06, but the car isn't designed by crowd sourcing ideas and that wishbone is not going to change. I actually like the boomerang on my C8 better, but on the whole I like the Z06 and hence I will be getting one.

It won't be long before some suggests if you have an order and don't like the wishbone then cancel your order.

Tough sh*t. This is an amazing car, but not the right one for you. Cross your fingers that GM builds a version with a longer stroke so you can get your low end torque back.

I agree. Not the best look. But they did not call me. I guess I won’t be at 40K over. Just 39.5K over.

I don't like it, but they aren't going to change it. I'll have mine wrapped or painted when it gets here, I'll be doing the same with the inner portion of the front bumper anyways.

Really don't like it either. In fact, I'm SHOCKED they would put that on the car. But they also designed some of the ugliest tail lights possible so I guess I'm not too surprised. IMHO, the car is a 8.8 but could easily be a 9.5 if they just fixed the rear end and removed the side trim. They will probably fix the side trim in coming years but I may have a low number at Ciacco so may get first year. If they offer color matching I will order that.

No one knows at this point, if they allow it, they’ll probably bundle it with the front/rear grills like the Stingray, which looks terrible. Regardless, I don’t want the entire wishbone body colored, just the stupid tail. I’ll make it look like the C8R scoop.

How do you know you have a low number at ciacco? Did you go in person and if so what number were you in the store?

The regular c8 boomerang is horrible. At least zo6 quarters are more drastic. The standard c8 though looks like a little boy designed it. Half intake opens with door??? Halarious.

Have you compared the Z06 to the Stingray? It appears to me they did a number of tweaks to the rear end that improved things significantly. Plus, the low Z06 spoiler is miles better than either option on the Stingray.

I don’t love it… clearly inspired by the latest Aventador. Would have preferred the C8R.

I don't know anything for certain but it seems that I should. If they do what they said I should be in good shape. My Wells Fargo bank rep confirmed that the transfer of funds was completed at 12:03. With my experience having been with Wells Fargo and doing countless wires over the past 30 years, it happens nearly instantly (receiving bank getting it, not just WF sending it), which they confirmed in this case it did. Not too many people are ahead of 3 minutes.

Personally, I would love to get it body color and then it wouldn't be so bad. I've seen a couple base C8s with factory body color boomerangs while retaining the black vents in the back and they look amazing. Not sure if that was a special factory request since I know typically if the body color boomerangs are ordered, then the vents in the back are also body color.

The ugly boomerang heading towards the rear end is a warm up so you're not shocked at how ugly the back is.
The rest of the car is incredible though and makes up for it

The back is heavily revised from the base car and about as good as they can do.
