I just called Stingray and I'm #331 on the all variants list...I placed my deposit 6/2/21. They are going to call me back when they finalize the Z06 list. I believe she said they got 51 C8's in September but only 9 in October. She also said that they have over 1,500 deposits but she didn't say if that was for all C8's or just the Z06... She was very helpful and accommodating so I didn't feel the need to interrogate her... They sold 319 corvettes in 2015 and 235 in 2020. Just search top corvette dealers and put in a year...
That 1500 must be for both the Stingray and the Future models. I called them up after the reveal, and was told they were in the high 600s on the future variants list. I started out at 270 and as of last week I think it was down to 264 if I remember correctly. I wrote it down, but don't have that handy at the moment. I also reserved a few other slots too, will really be curiuos to see where they drop to after the Z06s are pulled off the list.
No call or email back from Stingray yet... Anyone hear anything ?
Yesterday Stingray announced that their website now has a number lookup on their website for the Stingray wait list and the variant wait list. You enter your phone number and it returns your place on the list. When they get those wanting a Z06 decided they will have a list just for the Z06.

In the past, how many z06's did stingray get per year?
Rep had told me last year of the C7 Z06 they got 80'ish and they are hoping to get around 100 for the C8's but will only know once monthly allocation #'s start coming out.

Ok thanks. That means the 1st List of these 3 Variant lists belong to the Z06 because I made my reservation earlier than you. And my position is 306 vs yours is 331. Thanks for the info. Lets hope some people drop off and we both move UP the list soon

Right now there is only one list (not including the Stingray List). Over the next couple of weeks (per Stingray) they are going to pull out all the people that want a Z06 and create a seperate list, and then everyone that remains on the future variant list will move up appropriately by the folks that move from that list over to the Z06 list. For example say there are 100 people currently on the future variant list. and you are position 50 and 75. You want a Z06 and an e-Ray. There are 30 people ahead of you that want a Z06 and 10 people between 50 and 75 that want a Z06. After they pull everyone and create the Z06 list, there will be 2 lists. you will be on both. on the Z06 list you will move from 50 to 31. on the future variant list you will move from 75 to 34 until they create the list for the next version.

that is an Excellent explanation. That makes perfect sense why the other 2 lists that I jumped on later around October show I'm at 700ish. It only means I have 3 positions on this master list of variant chronologically assigned. Thank you!
BTW do you know when they will generate the final z06 list ? They called me to confirm last month.
i don't. i spoke to them about a week ago and all i got was they were working through it and that it would likely be a few more weeks. hopefully it is soon since they have the phone number look up tool going now.
i imagine they are trying to track folks down to figure out what model it is they want. what was really eye opening to me was if you go look at the information they have up for the build blocks on the stingray, there are a large number of people that have not submitted a build to them. you would think if you are interested in a C8 anything that you would be proactive in following up on the process and the dealer would not have to chase you......

Exactly my thoughts as well. However when i spoke with the rep this week he was telling me 2/3 of the calls he's making for the regular C8 list people are not ready to move forward or have some other excuse. Honestly i think if it's your turn and you are not ready then you should be kicked off the list but i guess they are being too nice.

agreed. i think you give someone 2 weeks max to get their $hit together and if they can't figure it out, they gone....
I just plugged my phone number into the List Tool and it came back "Not Found". It did work earlier today. Do you suppose they are breaking out the separate Z06 list ?
