Default Subtle Interior Door Panel Design Change?

I don’t believe this has been touched on yet? Haven’t seen anything about it, so my apologies if this has been already been discussed.

Nothing groundbreaking here, but I do remember noticing on a recent Z06 mule ride along video what looked to be a stitching design on the door panel, similar to the stitching design on the interior roof of 3LT coupes on the Stingray. The debut cars, however, appear to have the regular, smooth surface of the Stingray interior.

I just noticed this same design feature I saw in the mule video appears in the visualizer. Possible MY2023 change for the whole line or a Z06 exclusive design feature? If it makes it to production, my guess is that all the models would get it.

Good catch! I hadn’t noticed it or seen any posts about it until now. Pretty cool.

Since that is a Natural Dipped interior doesn’t that have to be a 3LT? But it does look like something new for that level of trim, based on what I see the Base coupe build and price.

Yup, here is the 1LZ door panel (like a cheap bastard, me, would get). Hell I even get black speaker grills.

I like that blacked out speakers are an option this time around. Much better!

Like the stitching on the roof of the Stingray in the 3LT trim, you may be right. The 3LZ natural dipped car at the Petersen reveal, however, did not have this design feature.

They aren't an option, it's what comes on 1LT Stingray (like what I have on my 2020) or 1LZ on Z06. The 2LT/2LZ and 3LT/3LZ gets the bright speaker grilles.

Those were preproduction cars too, just like some pics of cars with no Corvette lettering on the back that will be there when production cars come.

I agree. That’s why I’m thinking we will probably get this feature for the production version, even if it’s only available on 3LZ. We’ll see.

They are for the Z06. Go check the configurator. They added blackout as an option. It's next to the carbon interior trim options.

Oh, I stand corrected. Thanks for pointing this out. I do find it funny that you have to downgrade to upgrade your interior look.

27:50 of the most recent Corvette Today podcast with Harlan Charles, Harlan answers this question and mentions that the stitching pattern on the door panel illustrated in the original post is indeed a Z06 exclusive. Nice touch to make the Z06 interior that much more unique.
