Agree it is an absolute bargain but that's not the car. Although I am a little turned off after seeing the other pic, I am still hopeful the actual car will be a stunner.

Going to be a cool car, but after owning a C8 coupe and now a HTC I'm reverting to a coupe.
1. I don't trust the top to work long term and I don't trust my local Chevy dealer to fix it. The way the water pools on the back glass is destined to leak one of these days.
2. I really miss seeing the motor and this new LT6 should be a looker.
3. The top down experience is not that much better than the coupe top out, I thought it would be, but it's not.
4. I was told there's more room in the HTC. I had hoped I'd fit with a helmet. There's only more room if you drive very reclined and there is no position I can fit in the car with a helmet. Coupe is actually better for a performance driving position w/ a helmet.
5. I will say the convenience of putting the top up and down with a button is very nice vs. top in/out with the targa.

Starting to look a little "McLaren-ish".
But I'm fine with it

All I want is that engine in a C8 HTC. Don't give a hoot about anything else. I'm in.
This might be the last great N/A non-hybrid V8 ever made.

I love the HTC. The top is down virtually every time I drive unless it is raining (or my wife has her hair done up for an event).

That said, I drop the top every time I can. I love not messing with the roof and having the trunk available with the roof down. Another HTC is in my future.
I had the glass top on my C6 and wish that was an option on the HTC. In the winter, it makes cabin feel bigger and brighter.

I agree. The Nacelles are too big. They wrap around on the side of the car, which reduces the open feel. They also don't leave a lot of space between them, and combined with the window not going all the way down also reduces the open feeling.

Fortunately the dome doesn't appear any taller in the Z06 photos. I was a bit concerned that the Z06 might use long intake runners that would require more height to fit.

I've gotten use to that, but I'm glad I have a back-up camera for parking lot maneuvers. On 2021s you can actually drive at speed with the back-up camera on. I don't but a guy in my club has tested it.

Sometimes I like to floor it... I like being able to clearly see if there's an officer anywhere around before I do so.
