They sold 190 corvettes last year. If 25% is dedicated to z06 moving forward, then that should put them around 45 z06's a year and me in a 2024 or 2025 z06 (fingers crossed). I'm actually hoping to get a 2024 (2nd year model) to allow them to work out any issues with the first year model. It also means they have a waitlist to sell out for 5-6 years easily if everyone stays on the list then they can be selective of who they sell too and hit buyers with ADM (gulp). In 2020, when I decided to put my deposit down with Jim Ellis they actually sold only one less vette than Rick Hendrick but I see Rick Hendrick sold 245 in 2021 which is a huge difference from year over year.

Have you gotten any clarification on what law in New York prohibits such as it can't be a Georgia law that singles out one state? I bought my C7 from Rick Hendrick in Duluth and was happy that I got on the Jim Ellis list when the reports of Duluth not selling at MSRP came out. Fingers crossed Jim Ellis honors selling at MSRP.
Sounds like they are just playing fast and loose with their list. Prolly people that indicated they’d pay an ADM being “shuffled” forward. MANY buyers will be seeing a multitude of new scams, shams, and flim-flams developing now that pricing is out and ordering theoretically imminent. Some wild stories are headed our way with a lot of P.O.’ed buyers who thought they were jake.

Strap-in…the real fun is about to begin.

I am on the list at Ellis as well. Went from 23 to 63. Not happy about it but little recourse. I am hopeful they will deliver the vehicle with no further drama.

Well you are the third person (myself included) in this thread that regressed from the original spot. As I said earlier, I was 73 now 103, earlier another went from 97 to 112. The only thing I believe in this, is that they are getting offers at much more than MSRP and putting them at the front of the list!!
It doesn't matter much to me now, because that won't sell me a car because I live in NY. I believe this is all dealer shenanigans!

It would appear to me based on the facts in this thread that the dealer cannot be trusted.

I am hopeful it will work out as the car should be mega fun. If it doesn’t it is still just a car not the cure for cancer. This such “a first world problem.”

I just decided to take a look around and see if there was any news about Jim Ellis allocations. I'm #172 as of when I placed my deposit with Reggie. Haven't reached out as I knew it would be at least a few years. Sounds like it may be more than that, or never. Deposit placed 12/3/21

I don’t know about deliveries, but 7 Z06’s have been built for them.

Hello everyone,

Jim Ellis is a reputable dealer.

All car dealers probably have a little chicanery going on. However, you have Reggie Stegmaier and Leland the secondary Corvette salesman. I got on the list when Chris Lindamood decided to resign from Hendricks because of the fluff and puff added to their window sticker.

I feel pretty confident that if you decided not to buy the car they will refund the deposit as they never told me it was nonrefundable. I believe I have $500 down on two cars a stingray and a ZO6. I'm pretty close to getting my Stingray but I opted to wait until 24 in case there were any changes.

I currently have a C7 Z06 that I like as well.

I'm also on the Stingray list in Florida and I find that I get periodic updates. I do seem to move around a little far is the number but over the last year I've just been getting closer.

I know this has been discussed ad nauseam, but I'm not concerned with Jim Ellis or Stingray. I think that they're reputable dealers. They make money at MSRP and that they will do what they said they will do.

Now I could be completely off base here.'I have no facts to back this up other than there's a couple other people in this thread that live in Atlanta like me and they feel confident as well.

It is unfortunate for all of us how long we've had to wait for these cars.

I think it's out of our control amd they are first world problems, they're just toys for us. I don't know that my post helps her or shed any light on anything.

I just lurking here at 5 o'clock in the morning reading the forum like I do for fun and said what the heck, I'm in the mix here I might as well post some thing

No disrespect to anyone just my opinion.Kevin Marshall.

I agree with Kevin!

I'm a Reggie and Leland fan as well. Been dealing with Reggie for over 35 years. I had a real early deposit and got pulled on the first draw in August '22. However, I want a Z07 loaded up with all the goodies so I'm still am waiting for my chance. Got a call just this past Friday since they had a surprise opportunity however, I would have needed to change my order so I passed again. I'm in a MSRP.

You and I met at Jim Ellis about 10 years ago. I remember you and follow you on the forum you likely don't remember me, but I remembered your blue ZR one :-)

Not sure how they can do non refundable. Sounds like bad practice for a dealership. I would avoid them like the plague

Deposits posted with Jim Ellis are fully refundable up until you order against an allocation.

Thank you

Thats good. Because at number 145 there will not be a car for about 23 years at this rate.

Does anyone on the Z06 Jim Ellis list have an update on allocations or gotten a call that they are up? I emailed Reggie last week for the first time in a year to get an update of where I might be on the list at this point but have not received a response. I can't find any updated info on allocations Jim Ellis has received to even get an idea of how many more months (years) I'll be waiting.

You can use the c8tracker.com site to see how many have been delivered to a dealer. Looks like this past year they received 19 allocations for Z06s.
