2020 C8 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Well, that's the engine for me. It might be the end of the line of NA cars but it sounds pretty sweet.

Still a bit more body roll than expected on the Z07 packaged car, you can really tell after the braking zone turning left after Brunnchen (stone paved trackout/rumble strip left section of the track). The 765LT with it's hydraulic (Proactive Chassis Control II) suspension has less body roll, both the Manthey Racing 992 GT3 as well as the 992 GT3 RS prototype have less body roll going through that particular turn as well.

At the end of the first vid are the only times it looks like the driver is pushing it hard. Car looks to have very good front end i.e. turn-in i.e. pointy-ness. This is hard to get in a mid-engine car sometimes. That said the back looks a bit of a handful. The blue GT3 looks very well-sorted. However, it is early days for the Z06 testing so hopefully they work through it and get a really well-balanced car.

Based on the article on the main CF page, I'm inclined to believe this. That article indicates the E-Ray (still a stupid name) will be based on the wide body (no idea why) and have the LT2 and base wheels/tires (which also doesn't really make sense given widebody).

Different tips than LT2. Same Tips as the turbo CAD. Imo some form of a different engine.

I am wondering how someone had access to the twin turbo cad but not any others that would be supposedly released prior. Would love to see an na cad if it exists. But exhausts can easily be changed, I think they just decided to change it a few months back for sound and cosmetic purposes. Better to differentiate between stingray as well plus I like it better anyways.

Clearly you're missing the point.... It was said the corner exhaust was E ray with LT2. I was pointing out the tips are not LT2/stingray tips, but they match the turbo CAD. IDGAF if it has turbos or not the point is the tips match the CAD which means it's probably not an LT2 in back whatever it is.

Is car #7 wider than car#6….if so could the ZR1 be even wider than the Z06?

A few leaked CADs from 2~3 years ago are not definitive proof of anything. They obviously have continued to make changes, as evidenced by the center exhaust showing up. That was obviously a redesign situation since they literally hacked the original bumper to open up room for the pipes (as seen in the early shots of the central exhaust).
Just as we never saw CADs of the hybrid, maybe the CAD for the hybrid had the turbo tips. We don't know if the different exhaust tips from the turbo CAD applied to all wide body cars (now that I've said that, that actually makes sense).
Alot of people keep referencing those CADs as gospel, and those are obviously the original designs for certain elements, but we didn't see all CADs and we certainly know they have made changes.

The Base Z06 gets a bit squiggly under braking, the Z07 packaged car is planted under braking.

Car is under full compression there and a hard turn. Look at how compressed the LF tire is. Not much meat left before wheel hits road.

I'll quote myself again... guys... this is the same batch of development cars that we've seen all along. As I pictured above car 7 is an early mule from before they decided to go center exhaust. For whatever reason they left the rear alone. Probably using it for tuning other aspects of the car and racking up development miles. It's not an eRay, it's not a ZR1 etc.
