TCM Tuning
I know some shops are testing it. ProCharger teased it with changing launch RPM via steering wheel controls, but pretty quiet overall.
Does anyone have any updates on when TCM tuning will be availble from HP Tuners?

Only rumors, so far......

When the TCM tuning becomes available, competent tuners will likely be quick to integrate into existing and new builds. They'll probably be tied in with the TCM developer, just as they were with HP Tuners announcement/release of "native ECU tuning". Some of the larger HPTuner shops already had new builds (e.g. integrated twin turbos + Cam/Heads) that were tuned with the OEM ECU/PCM and the HP Tuners software that were shown in video clips the same day as the HP Tuners announcement that they had "cracked the ECU". I was surprised how well the Tuner shops that participated in the early adoption of the Unlocked ECUs were able to keep the BIG News unknown to most of the C8 community. Hopefully, there's something secret going on today that will result in a Cracked TCM announcement soon...
Along the same lines, I'd love to hear that someone is working on a new physical gear set, to replace gears 4-8 with new ones that don't all feel like higher levels of overdrive. Combined with boost-by-gear (already available), and a tunable TCM; this would be fantastic.

So far, GM has seen fit to fit a single gear set to all C8s, only changing the transfer gear as you step up from a base Stingray to a Z51/E-Ray and then a Z06. I kind of doubt they'll change any gears from the factory so that might make it a bit less likely that someone will step up as they can't just pull factory parts out of wrecked cars or bum gearboxes. I think it's also going to necessitate these cars being out of powertrain warranty cover in numbers to make the business case. I don't see significant numbers of owners cracking these problematic transmissions and voiding their warranties when a replacement is $20K. I hope someone does it but with the Corvette tax added, it won't be cheap.

Well, I suppose that's good news as the cheapest head/cam/tune pack I've seen so far is $13K installed. I guess you could DIY, but I doubt 99% of users here have the tools, time, expertise to do so. Looks like this upgrade path is going to be 80ish hp for $15K.

Possible TCM News?
Hopefully this is the TCM news we have been waiting for.

I’ve also heard they are releasing it at SEMA. Which is a good idea.

We seem to be getting closer.
I wonder if they are going to have a software fix for the instrument cluster to show an increased redline? My 2023 Stingray rev counter definitely maxes out at 7000. A savvy tuner could probably find a way to flash the display to the Z06 version but that would be silly as that thing goes all the way to 9K. I hope they have a fix for this.
edit: fooling around with speed in gear calculators and assuming a conservative 6900rpm limiter tells me that we will see stock power C8s squeak in the 10s with just a TCM tune, esp. the non-Z51 cars that will be able to get through the quarter mile in 4th. Z51 will be close as they'll still have to shift to 5th.
