Default State of Trans tuning

Looking to get a lay of the landscape. Hows the state of the transmission internals and solenoids? I know in bimmerland that their DCT can be fully modified and gonzo'd with aftermarket solenoid controllers. Are there any places looking at this? TCM tuning for the GM computer?
How about the internals?

Im looking at the options as a complete package if I twin turbo. Glad HPtuners is out for a least the engine side.

Basically nothing. You can upgrade the clutches and increase line pressure (allegedly) but as far as messing with the internals, nothing. TCU programming....nothing. It's still a waiting game.

Yup.
Contacted my C7 builder and tuner today. Nothing as of now for my C8.

Side note … I’m still NOT 100% on the new HP tuners … new capabilities.
Everyone needs to ask questions. A LOT of them

You're smart to wait for TCM tuning before going all in on forced induction. Many of the BMW/Porsche/Audi tuners offer a trans tune along with their engine tunes that make the trans work better with the higher power levels after tuning. I'd definitely want the same thing if I was adding a significant amount of power to my Vette.

Although it'd be nice if/when we can tune the trans, it's not necessarily something that is needed right now. Between the module that you can plug in (I think from Peitz) that adjusts clutch pressure, and aftermarket clutch packs, you can throw a lot of horsepower at the trans and not have any issues.

I think adjusting shift points and/or raising the rev limiter would be the best things once it comes to that.
