Default RennStand Jack Stands?

Has anyone tried these jack stands with their C8? I was thinking about how would I jack up my car in my garage using a floor jack at the proper jacking position where I have my jacking pucks? Once up in the air where would I put jack stands if I wanted all four wheels off the ground? I don't have the room to store, nor do I want to spend the money on a quick jack setup. Anyone try these with their C8?

I have those along with race ramps when I don’t need to remove tires or just changing oil.

I haven’t used them on the c8 yet, but I used them on my c7 z06. Really a great product. Keeps the jacking spot right on the factory recommend area.

I would think they will work the same on the c8 as long as you use the jack pucks.

Yes purchased 4 of them. Unfortunately you will need race ramps as well as car is too low to slide stand in without lifting alittle first but once done works great. Or set a piece of 2x4 under tire after jacking alittle then move stand in place

Looks like a good option for the C8, I would be able to change my oil safely on our HTC.

Don't understand why. It would depend on the top of the jack stand used.

Yep both ReenStand and JackPoint work BUT require you to buy their Jack Pads that fit the C8 and their device.
A member posted his cheaper method I put in my How Too Install Brake Pads PDF on C8 Z51: http://netwelding.com/Ceramic_Pads.pdf
If careful in placing GM Jack Pads and Jack Stands can do much cheaper. Pics below.

BTW as the LT2 oil pan drain plug is on the front of the engine NO NEED to have the car level to change oil. May get more oil out with just the rear wheels raised and put on stanchions (my preferred safe lifting method when not removing wheels!)

Forum member used both jack pad, jack and narrow base jack stand close together to remove his brake caliper to change pads. If careful, can also work in reverse without (as he did) modifying GM spec Jack Pad to insert in round hole.)

I reversed the pad jack stand position so no need to modify Jack Pad to fit. If the jack stand is placed close enough to the Jack Pad/Jack should be fine. For sure in front, where forum member used to remove front caliper when changing brake pads. If careful should work for rear. IF just to change engine oil wheel stanchions would be very safe.

Where with my C7, I got the car level with stanchions in the rear and jack stands on the front crossmember, not needed with the C8. C8 engine drain plug is in the front of the engine so you'll get slightly more oil out just putting the rear wheels on stanchions. Place on the stanchions with jack pads and jack! Cheap!

Which jack do you use with Jackpoint? Can any low-profile jack work with it? Thx.

Has anyone been able to buy Jackpoint jackstands anytime in the last 5 months?
I’ve been trying to get Jackpoint stands since February but the website has been back ordered for the entire time.
They allegedly have me on a wait-list, but I’m starting to wonder…

Sorry for reviving an outdated thread but just wanted to say thank you. This little tip is exactly what I was looking for.

I have Harbor Freight low profile floor jacks. I use hockey pucks as lifting pucks.
