Default Afm disable

Anyone know if ra de technology plans on doing a afm disable for the c8?

It doesnt work that way. To disable the AFM you will need to remove the lifters and replace them with normal LS7 style or better lifters. Along with some other hard part changes and some needed tuning changes as well which isnt possible right now.

I didn't say not to replace the AFM parts taken off but let the link explain the system. I did suggest that tuning might not be necessary since the parts that would receive electronic signals would be gone. However, the car developer can check with the vendor that offers the AFM delete since they are also a nationally-known engine builder:

That won’t work, AFM disables injectors, amongst other things. It has to be done foe now via programming or a range technology device.

Yeah, I think I would combine the Range device with the AFM hardware delete and replacement
.

Track mode is a bit much to drive around the street. But track mode does keep it off
