Sold my C8 - should I include welcome gift
Selling my 2020 C-8 tomorrow to a private buyer (getting a new Z06) & was wondering if it is expected to include the C8 welcome gift/cast car to the new owner? My wife says keep it, looking for thoughts or what others have kept or included in the sale?

No, not expected at all. Keep it!

If it were you buying would you want it? I would. There is obviously no obligation but it sure would be a nice gesture to a fellow corvette enthusiasts.

I received my cast model a month ago. Honestly, it’s not a big deal to me. When I sell my 24 stingray, the model goes with it.

Absolutely include it!!!
When I recently bought my 2021 the guy gave it to me and it made me so happy...when I sell mine in a few years for a z06 I will absolutely give it to the next buyer.
Such a cool thing to do and a great way to pass the good vibes from the car on..

I always give buyers everything (window stickers, build sheets, maintenance records speed models, dealer brochures, etc) associated with the car as I feel it's the right thing to do and they always appreciate it.
What would you want with the speed model for a C8 you no longer own? Besides you will be getting another with your Z06.

If I’m trading it in at a dealership, then probably no. If I’m selling it to a private buyer, then I would probably include it.

Keep it if you want it, if not pass it on... simple.

Good call on letting the welcome gift go to the next Corvette owner.
