I thought I would do something a little different since most C8's I've seen have the front lip and rear spoiler in black rather than body color.
I manage a body shop so it cost me nothing to try it out and if I don't like it paint them black.
Anyhow I'm pretty happy with the look and thought I would post pics for those thinking of going body color.
I have been wanting to see this done for a while, so glad you gave it a try! And its in the right color, same as my car. Looks good!
One of the details about the Z06 vs the Stingray is how the lower section of the front bumper cover is painted vs the black going all the way down. This body color front lip gives a similar look for the Stingray.
I was thinking of doing a rear spoiler only not front lip. I like the Racing Sport Concept but it only comes in carbon fiber and that is a waste to paint over wish they had another option. I think the RSC spoiler looks better then the EOS because it's smaller. But I do like the look, thanks for posting!
Want to try it out on a Red Mist metallic? You know, for research purposes? I have a body color spoiler already, but would love to see how the front splitter matched up.
