Manufacturers have always provided fitting options for more than one model. No reason to expect that practice to stop now. What was funny was a new Ford I once checked-in for my employing dealership that had everything bolted onto all such options for all models... what a mess (and no, no one at the factory had noticed; sound familiar?).
