Default SR vs Z06 vs E-Ray Defined and Links to Each Playbook

With the recurring arguments on the value proposition of each trim (X trim is not worth Y dollars because of Z reason), I found these bullet point summaries from the E-Ray dealer's playbook to be worth noting on its own. There is no outright wrong trim. What you specifically value boils down to personal preference.

As for the debate on whether the SR is a supercar. If you read between the lines, the descriptions imply it's a poor man's supercar which has a bad connotation. But it truly has supercar proportions and performance without the supercar price. So in the literal sense of its qualities, it's not a bad thing at all. I see it as a cheat code that broke the rules. This is from the SR dealer's playbook.

McLaren 570 compares to the stingray
,McLaren artura compares to the Eray
mclaren 720 compares to the z06

ferrari 458 compares to the stingray
ferrari 296 compares to the eray
ferrari 488 compares to the z06 and maybe ZR1

stingray is lightweight (meaning beginner model) supercar
eray is a supercar grand tourer
z06 is the race car designed to also be driven on the street.

stingray compares the Porsche 911 s
eray compares to the upcoming Porsche 911 hybrid
z06 compares to the Porsche gt3
ZR1 compares to the Porsche gt2

obviously its not exact comparision yet for mission statements id say these comparisons are close enough.

all great cars. Obviously this is a corvette forum so many of our opinions have some bias

Love my lowly non z51 2lt htc below.
I was on the e ray list and passed. If I totaled mine tomorrow I'd probably opt for the e ray but as my week old gmpp confirms I'm very happy as is.

Default E-Ray Buyer Archetype

This is the most superfluous yet specific description I've seen for a target customer. And it makes sense (to me). My biggest selling point would be the symphony of spaceship sounds between the pushrod harmonizing with the whirring electric motor.

We've had all 3 and think that's a fairly accurate chart. (only Eray now)

Pretty cool material cooked up by their marketing department. My former employer's marking dept. used to make up this same stuff to send out to regional managers and facility managers all the time.
