Default Callaway Supercharger status

Anyone know what is happening with Callaway and my supercharger install? I only heard a certification issue and it “ would be just a couple months” was supposed to be February. Just asking.

Thanks, but I’m interested if any one knows how their California certification is going?

I was told on 3/8 that it would be a couple of weeks. I've not gotten an update since then.

If I am able to get any updates, I'll add that to this thread or PM you directly.

One of the reasons that I bought the Callaway is because they promised emissions compliance and that is very important to me.

With what seems like an ever changing emissions target for CA, I can only imagine how difficult it is to get parts CARB certified. Hopefully they are getting close to having your car done and you can start enjoying it with the new power level.

Certification has to be done through the California Air Resources Board.

If you read the entire thread, you’d see that Callaway has not been communicating with me. I’ve had my deposit for coming up on one year. They notified me in December that my install my SC would be in January. Since then there’s been no updates or communication.

Regardless of what challenges CA may present suppliers, it's no excuse for vendors not notifying customers of the status of the certification situation and/or their particular order.
