So if you have a C8, and no Quickjack, the answer is the 5000 TLX, correct?
Yes, but I’d also take into consideration if you have other cars that couldn’t fit the longer length. I also have an MR2 Spyder which is an extremely short vehicle. I think the longer QJ wouldn’t fit it, and that car spends more time on the lift than my C8. I’ve also heard some older 911s need the shorter ones. I’d pick the lift you can get the most use out of.

5 mins or so, a little more if I have two cars in the garage, maneuvering the QJs around the other car takes a little extra care. My power unit is mounted to the wall and plugged in. I just have to attach the hoses and line up the base units. There’s really no comparison to jack stands, the car lifts fast and level, locks drop in automatically, it’s just so easy and solid. All my neighbors are jealous too! 😊
If you can store the units flat like one of the posts above, it would really be a time saver for set up too. I like a clean garage and I don’t use them very often, but if you use them a lot then it would be worth flat storing them. Or maybe even sliding them under a bench along the side walls. Another thing I was thinking about was if you could use coil hoses for the hydraulics? That would be a real time saver, leave them attached to the power units and just pull them out to hook up. Not sure that’s even possible, but it would be cool.

Yes - exactly. Our 7000 series regular length Quickjack lifts all of our vehicles well including the C8.

Same here... about 5 minutes. I don't use them frequently so having them hung is more convenient and frankly I prefer the aesthetics of having them hanging rather than having them on the floor. Might be stating the obvious since I built a display for mine...
I believe the SLX models have a lift of maybe 2-1/2" less than the TLX models.(lift not length)
