Welcome to the Forum and congratulations on your Vette.
Are you considering fully forged wheels or other types?

Wheels are a tough call. I ordered the stock 5 spokes, thinking that I will buy aftermarket when I find some that I really like.
One year later, and I have not found any that really stand out to me. They all are so expensive, I'm no hurry.

Do you have a spoke design you're interested in? Most corvette owners seem to like 5 spoke or split 5 spoke designs. Are you looking for flow-formed (spin forged) or billet forged (or *gasp* cheap and cast)? 1, 2 or 3 piece?
Do you intend to keep stock size tires, or are you planning on changing them? If you are changing, are you looking to increase sidewall height and/or reduce the rim diameter; are you planning to go bigger and perhaps 20/21 like the Z; or are you planning on keeping the same?
Are you wanting the same offset, or are you wanting to decrease offset a bit in order to push the wheels a bit further out to "fill out" the fender? (Not my cup of tea, but many do)
Do you know what color/finish you're looking for? Have you thought about what will both compliment the exterior and interior color of your car--and/or the calipers, vinyl/decals/graphics?

All good questions and things I am considering. Color seems to be one of the hardest choices. Looks like most owners go with black wheels for the hypersonic grey but I want something that shows up a little more and still not “flashy”.

Welcome to the forum!
I went with VT forged because they have tons of designs, they are custom made to your preferred diameter/ width/ offset/ bolt pattern and finish and are similar in cost to offerings from Apex or BC Forged that are popular for the C8!platform
