Default If you were reordering your car today, what would you do differently?

After owning it for a while, is there anything you would change about how you specced your C8?

For example, I would probably get the front lift. Between the appalling state of Atlanta area streets and my CF splitter, I'm doing way too much trigonometry in my head before turning on or off the street.

I would re-think the Z51 package, especially the summer tires. We have had a number of days over the winter where the weather has been clear enough, and the roads sufficiently free of salt that I could have driven the car, but cold temps kept me from doing so. When it comes time to replace the tires, I will definitely look at all season options to give me more driving days.

After nearly 3 years/20k miles, the only thing I'd change is adding in the yellow seatbelt option.

I also would have ordered front lift. Otherwise, I would not change a thing. By far, the coolest automobile I have ever owned!

I'd probably get the GT2 seats in two tone SCG instead of my GT1 full SCG.

I'm guessing front lift. I have one of those driveways where I have to pull in and back out at an angle.

You clearly understood the assignment the first time; Red Mist is the fastest and best color, and that's a scientific fact.

The biggest regret in life is to have bought a C8 in 2023.
I should have bought one much before !

I would change nothing. In almost 20,000 miles I have found zero reason to have bought the "lift." Perhaps this is because I am on my 8th Vette (two C7s) and am so accustomed to occasionally having to adjust my angle of approach or departure that I don't give it a second thought.

I agree with Jean Fume...I would have ordered right away, and not in 2021 which resulted in a 2 year wait for a 2023 MY, which I love but missed a solid year of fun driving.

I have the front lift because I had a dip in the entrance into my driveway, and then our HOA decided to repave the street (yep, paid for that too), so now I don't need it for my daily in/out at home, but still find it useful on the streets here near Detroit, or back home in Indy, or for neighborhoods with speed bumps...no anxiety just lift and crawl over them.

The best thing about ordering exactly what I wanted is...it's exactly what I wanted, so no other regrets, besides maybe magride so that I could easily lower the rear of the car, but that's it!

For sure! I'm just wondering if, now that you've had it for a while, what you wanted then is exactly what you want now.

Wouldn't change a thing about the car. I do wish I had done the museum delivery.

I might order orange instead of Torch red, though Torch red is a very close second. Everything else (2LT, GT1, HTC, Z51, MSRC, front lift) would stay the same.

I wouldn't change a thing either ! On our factory order of course....... since then I've changed just about everything.... but nothing that would have affected the order. LOL !!!!
Our 12th Vette........ perhaps I would have done the Museum delivery. Been there and done the factory tour, etc but never did the Museum delivery program. My error.....

I would get the red stitching. Somehow I missed that when I ordered mine. It's my first Corvette and an awesome machine!

I did my homework and ordered my C8 exactly as I wanted so I would have no regrets. Sometimes I read about someone not getting an option or two to save a little bit only to regret it after the fact. The thought always in the back of their mind that they should have ordered this or that option or should have waited until they found the exact car they wanted. Not worth settling when you are purchasing your dream / trophy car.
