I love my 2023 Interior including the wall of buttons even though the lights could be brighter. The wife keeps harping on “where’s the grab handle for the passenger?” This was a big miss on the C8 as far as we are concerned. The passenger needs something to hang on to for “spirited driving”. Anybody have any ideas?

I am always fascinated what goes on in the design studios that make the decisions that end up in our vehicles. They need to bring in sample groups of enthusiasts and show them options and ask them what they like/dislike and why before the person who made it (biased) sends it to production. It seems like they send it out to the world and then start tweaking as we all start complaining.

It's sad when trolls with weaponized autism and powered by AI can generate a superior cockpit to what GM is actually offering.
-Flat bottom steering wheel with 3rd spoke > 2 spoke squircle
-Asymmetric button wall gone
-Ambient lighting on the doors / etc.
-Larger & less fugly infotainment screen
p.s.
Honestly, GM should just offer a 10k prize contest for all comers to design car interiors. If your entry gets used on anything in the GM lineup--you get 10k. Not only would we get far better car interiors than GM can with a cabal of designers, but GM could save money on its design team.
