New Form of "Wave"
I ve been waving over 50 years but the last two times I was on an Interstate when a C4 and then a C7 pulled adjacent to me they immediately floored it. Is this a new form of greeting instead of waving?

I don’t know what it is about the C8 but I ALWAYS get idiots doing idiot things around me when I’m in it just not usually other vettes.

Sounds like they just want to play.

I have only had waves from other Vettes but all sorts of weirdness from others. Wife always makes the comment " isn't it nice you don't have anything to prove". I just continue enjoying the drive.

The medical term for each driver is "idiot." They are looking for attention. Acknowledge their presence by waving the middle finger of your left hand.

I wouldn't know. I hardly ever see any C8s on the road. And I'm live in the greater Cincinnati area.

I get waves and thumbs up from a variety of drivers and vehicles. I see a lot of Corvettes here in Florida. I like to flash my lights to on coming Corvettes.

Ha ha. That’s too funny ….
Wave on
I’m a C5 torch red conv driver for past 12 years, I get friendly waves from just about all types of drivers. Even more so when I had my previous set of vanity plates “Assmn”. I wanted something new and switch’m couple years back to Cio Bela and still they continue. Perhaps it’s that bright red color, American made sports car, my passengers, my Italiano appearance can’t tell ya what instigates the reaction I just smile and wave back same with my HOG. Some with my LS500 magnesium luster nada with white Jeep Summit Hemi so ?
In curious to see if my new C8 red mist metallic convert (at dealer, picking up this week) will have same reactions. Will have to wait and see.

I wave to all Vettes, but I have to admit that sometimes I'm so involved in the drive I don't realize one is about to go by till they are 20 feet away. by the time my hand is up I'm looking at them through the drivers side window.

I wave when safe to do so and when I see another Vette in time. Been a long time since someone tried to race out on the street.

LOL.. this is funny as I had a C8 do this to me when I was in my highly modified C5. When he found out what I was packing he respectfully stayed behind the rest of the way.

I wave and flash my lights. Been doing that for 50 years, ever since I got my first Vette.

Over the years I've found the latest series Vette often gets goofy responses. But, nothing I'd liken to a "wave."
