01. 63 SWC Nassau Blue ('65) re-paint VIN S111229, Bought Apr 9, 1966 < a year out of HS. Got drafted into the Army in '66 which forced the sale. Got out 2 yrs later and promptly bought #2.
02. 63 SWC Goodwood Green ('67) re-paint, red int., like a X-mas tree. Had BB hood w/white stinger, side exhaust, 67 rally whls, & the latest in tires.
03. 68 CV 427/390 Blue
04. 73 T-top Red, Hooker header side exhaust, sharp!
05. 77 T-top Blue
06. 74 CV
07. 59 CV Red
08. 74 CV L82
09. 80 Blue, then traded it w/my good buddy David McDonald for #10
10. 63 SWC stock red VIN S110386 July 1985 - Feb 86, sold it to a Va Dlr for 10K
11. T-top, notes say $510 profit for 18 days
12. 75 CV
13. 75 CV
14. 63 SWC Porsche Red repaint. This one was special. Saw it at Rosenthal Chev in Arlington vettte show and left my #. About a yr later I got the call. Appraised @ 20K in '88.
15. 84 Gray Jul 89, added 4.6k miles and $500 profit over 7 months
16. 76 T-top, this one we took on a 10-day cruise in 1990. First state visit to FL (bought a souvenir in FL ...a vacant lot). A great trip to remember.
17. 73 CV
18. 75 CV Burgundy
19. 88 Burgundy
20. 88 35th Anniv Oct 96 w/16.3k mi. VIN 116428. Broke down on hwy after purchase. Bad fuel pump. Brought in Md drove to FL. Sold 4 mts later for 1.5k gain.
21. 87 Coupe Burgundy, kept it one yr. added 9k fun miles. Sold w/125k miles
22. 87 Red Mar 04 - Dec 07. added 32k miles @ 2k net cost incl tax
23. 07 Yellow Jan - Apr 08. My net cost $100 after all expenses. 2.5k miles of use. (not my fav yellow)
24. 03 Z06 TR/mod - Jun 2010 - Feb 2011. 5.2k fun miles cost me $40 Sold for 27K (find it here in the Test forum. Thread title 1,2,3, testing) Great car. Want a Yellow now like it.
25. 93 40th Anniv Edition
26. 03 50th Anniv Edition
27. 90 Coupe wht. Bought only to get Corvette Loyalty Bonus on first-ever-brand-new #28. It then needed a fuel pump which set me back to break even w/the bonus. Lesson: be careful w/low mileages. Just like a generator in long storage. They need top grade clean fuel. And stabilizer for good luck.
28. 12 Coupe Gray, flew up to Dearborn MI Oct 17, 2012 and drove it back. Stopped at Bowling Green on the way. Notes say 6 months ownership @ zero cost.
#29 would have been a new C8 from Mike_Furman@Criswell back in 2020. Me not like stock wheels. Bought mod wheels from CA and placed them in third bathtub for storage. Wife let me know not pleased w/that. So I cancelled out the car too & returned the wheels to CA. In between those days I had a 2nd deposit on a C8 Z06 which ended up being applied to the first C8 as follow-up deposit, which auto-cancelled the Z bc of first cancellation. The Z06 would have been #30. I should have stood my ground here in Floriduh. Big regret to the tune of 20k+ in earnings between both. Been vetteless for a decade+
That's my story and I'm stickin with it. 71 total vehicles to date. Maybe 2 or 3 more.
