I drive it whenever I want to. I do try to avoid rain as it is a bitch to clean, but if I want to go somewhere I don’t let a rain stop me. Hail is another story.

Depends if my car is clean. Haha. If it's pouring rain out and the car is nice and clean, I probably won't take it out. But if it rains while I'm out or it's already dirty, then it's not a big deal at all. Rain isn't going to hurt it but I also don't want to have to rewash the car if I just washed it.

I drove mine home from the museum delivery in the rain for 6 hours. Couldn't help it. However I do not intentionally drive in the rain if I can avoid it as this is the most difficult car I've ever owned to wash.

NO, I do not drive in the Rain.................Im one of those unusual owners that uses my Corvette as a "TOY", as a Hobby and

I was having calipers powder coated when top two pics were taken, and
adding zinc plated rotors.................

I try not to drive in the rain but as a DD it's unavoidable. I have ceramic on it and it cleans up really well but when it's dirty it drives me nuts.

Respect to the people who do.
For me, I have 3 vehicles, the Corvette is the toy.
I wouldn't enjoy the stress driving in the rain. Mainly due to poor visibility, I would have to clean it the next day, and I have 2 other cars for rainy days.
I can get in around 4000 miles in nice day get-aways.
I have choices being retired.

Drove in the rain once. It was light rain driving home from work. It has sat under the rain several times, but we don't get anything serious here in California.

Not intentional. I’ve passed though a shower or two. I’ve got a truck for bad weather. The C8 is for 🌞😎

Sure. I bought the C8 to drive it. If it is raining when I leave the house the C8 is not my first choice unless I am going to a cars and coffee or something like that. But, no, I don't care if the C8 gets rained on. It's not a hard car to wash and kind of enjoy it.

I dont drive any of my corvettes in the rain, or if there is even a high threat of rain for that day. If I get caught in pop of storm, so be it. But most of the time I take my cars out, they are washed, and if you get caught in any type of rain, the car is trashed, and I have to wash it all over again. Thank the lord for ceramic coating, makes washing your ride a breeze.

Being a road tripper I drive the car in whatever weather is there. Good news is that even in horrendous rain (like 40 cows on a flat rock) the car doesn’t leak.
