Default Windshield glare

Any suggestions on reducing the glare from the dash on the windshield? I have the natural interior including the dash and see a "ghost" of the dash in the windshield under most sunlight conditions.

Thanks

Oakley Gibston sunglasses got rid of ninety percent of the glare for me.

Sunglasses would reduce it considerably.

This is 100% absolutely true.

About ten or so years ago Porsche had complaints about its Cayman with full natural (beige) interior having bad windshield glare. They offered a fix...gave owners free sunglasses.

Polarized sunglasses are your answer. Spend the bucks on a good brand (Costa, Maui Jim, Oakley, etc.)

I went the other way and purchased an inexpensive pair of photochromic polarized sunglasses dedicated off Amazon that I keep in the C8. I got tired of breaking and losing expensive sunglasses.

They did the HUD display correctly in the C8 and polarized sunglasses have a minimal effect on the brightness. Toyota did the HUD incorrectly and the HUD all but disappears in my wife's Avalon when using polarized sunglasses so I can't use the same pair for both the C8 and the Avalon.

Default Double Down on Smart

We always wear polarized sunglasses. In the Land of the Endless Summer, bright sun is nearly a 365 event. They do a great job of minimizing glare for any reason. Including our Natural Tan interior. You are only given two eyes and I'm guessing yours are important to you. Take care of them by using polarized sunglasses regardless of the motivation.

I guess I've never had a problem with any glare. UV blocking sunglasses are mandatory for me. I'm trying to avoid cataracts.
